Series starter and book #1 of First Time trilogy and You're really gonna love reading Heath and Devney's story. A beautiful contemporary romance that started out great and stayed amazing. And it all started when a beautiful woman walks into Heath's bar.

Completely hooked...

Good Time Boyfriend is the first in this new series. We get Heath and Devney’s story up first. Heath is Greer’s eldest brother, whom we originally met in her story in the Montgomery series. I was completely hooked on this story and couldn’t put it down. It was witty, full of heart, past hurt, had so many feels and the chemistry was off the charts. I loved the blended and found family aspect that Carrie Ann always brings us. What a great read. I am looking forward to more from this series.

Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

Absolutely loved this!

This book was definitely fast paced and fun! Who would have thought these two would have been so lucky to find and fall so deeply in love with one another. I really enjoyed this book and even the steamy scenes were great. Overall it was a fantastic book . The narrators did a superb job portraying these characters and their emotional journey . It was a pleasure to listen to.

I enjoyed this first book of the new series, the characters are great, and the links back to some of the other characters from an earlier series were good to revisit.

The narration was awesome.

I Loved It

This wonderful book is the first instalment in Carrie Ann Ryan's latest series and let me tell you it was a fantastic book that hooked me in from start to finish. I adored the characters Heath and Deveny and thought they were perfect for each other.

Heath Cassidy (we met briefly in Best Friend Temptation, Montgomery Ink Legacy book 4) and his siblings have moved to Denver to be closer to their sister Greer. His family is back together for the first time after being separated as children when their parents divorced. Greer going with their mother and all the boys with their father, This action has left lasting scars on all the Cassidys but especially Heath as he is the oldest,

He and his best friend, Ace own a bar and it was there that he first saw Deveny. It was just a look across a crowded bar but it was enough for neither of them to get the other out of their heads. So much so that he hardly, if ever, dated and she made him into her imaginary boyfriend to keep her over-protective family from trying to constantly fix her up!

But when Denver told her over-protective sibling that they were not together anymore, because, let's face it she couldn't introduce them, she never expected them to dash over to his bar and ask him why he hurt their sister! Nor did she expect the sexy bartender, Heath to play along and say they were only taking a break! From that point on everything changes for both of them, they become a couple who are together just for fun. Nothing serious and no strings, Heath becomes her Good Time Boyfriend.

But the more time they spend together the closer Heath and Devney become and they both realise that they have unintentionally fallen in love with each other. But then old hurts and fears resurface and Heat takes drastic measures. Fortunately, his loved ones helped him see things differently. But is it too late?

Against this backdrop, we are introduced to the Cassidys, the Johnsons, and the Womacks, who number many as she has five older step-siblings and five younger half-siblings. Ace and his fiancée, Grace and we also get to know her best friend Paisley and Deveney's Boss, Addison who just happens to be Heath's brother Luca’s ex-wife!

This first instalment in Carrie Ann Ryan's newest series is fun, intriguing and sometimes moving. I can't wait to find out what Carrie Anne has in store for us next.

The narration is wonderfully performed by the super-talented Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton, they did an excellent job of bringing all of these characters to life.

I Really didn't know what I was getting,. Aside from already knowing and loving Teddy Hamiltons voice, with it being really sexy as hell.

And Emma Wilder as a narrator is new to me, but I really like her,, Her voice is clear and I would say somewhat sultry voice was perfect for this character.

Both Narrators did an amazing job conveying their characters POVs.

If you read the description, no need to cover that.

What I liked About this story is it was a little shorter and fun.

There were alot of characters in it . Both Main characters had a big family each . With all the added characters, It Did Not Take Away from the story, It actually enhanced it.

The story moved along it didn't drag a part out . For Example, I hate when a character breaks it off and its dragged out, this story gets right to the heart of the matter and dealt with it right away.

It was a feel Good Story. I really have nothing bad to say about it . I would Definitely recommend it.

However without trying to give anything away there was something that threw me, and really kinda didn't sit right with me. but that is a me issue .

I was thrown, because How can his sister have not 1 but 2 fiancée.

In all my life I never knew one person can be engaged to 2 guys or marry 2 guys at the same time .

So Yea ,, that kinda bugged me quite a bit, but again that is a Me issue . Nothing really to do with the Mains .

Not Too Many Sex Scenes, More Story Geared Which I liked as well.

The Sex Scene were pretty mild. There was one anel scene but even so it was mild.

There is no BDSM in this story , if that's what your into.

Good Time Boyfriend

This is the first in Carrie Ann Ryan’s new series, which is all about Greer’s (from Best Friend Temptation) brothers. One thing I love that Carrie Ann Ryan does is tie her series together, but they can still all be read as stand alone books or series. This one is about Heath who is the oldest of the Cassidy siblings, and Devney, who has a huge family of her own. What starts off as a lie to get her siblings off her back slowly turns into something else. I loved Heath and Devney, but I am left with questions about his brothers. I am very excited to see what else this series as in store for us.

Love these narrators

Loved this story so much. What a nice Rom-com mixed in the traditional CAR fashion of when does the shoe drop or what’s going to happen! Lol I just adored Devney and her spark. And Heath was so protective and endearing right from the start. Their dates were fun and different. And speaking of different, everyone has jobs that are not tattoo artists 😂. We have bar owners, accountants, PR, vets, and teachers. These Cassidy men are going to be such a new adventure for us especially if they all follow their big brother’s lead. They all moved to be closer to Greer and start new lives and get to know their sister. And what a way to meet Devney’s family right out the gate, no holding back. You just knew it was going to be good. Even though this was a rom-com, there were some moments where I was a little verklempt. And what an ending!!!! Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder were a perfect pairing to bring these to characters to life. Side note, can these families get any bigger? Must be really cold in Colorado and they have to keep warm😉

This is the first of Greer’s brothers books. Heath Cassidy, the eldest and has decided to relocate to be closer to his sister and try and form the relationship they missed out on when they were younger. His brothers also moved from Portland to Denver to be closer to their sister. Devney Womack is head of PR for a small business in Denver.

Everything starts all from a little lie that thrusts Heath and Devney together placing them in a fake relationship but then slowly turning into something more.

This book draws you in from the start and the characters are amazing and lovable leaving you rooting for them completely. It’s a wonderful new series and can’t wait for more.
