Wowzer!

What a ride! The males' narration was so much better in this book. I was expecting a plot twist, but I didn't completely guess it! I can't wait for book three! Bravo!

This series is one of my top five of 2023

I have been transported to their realm and I get so lost in the adventure! I am so excited for the the next book and I love the strong female characters! My goodness what a cliffhanger and I am undone each book gets better and better …..

A little disappointing

I loved the first book, but I found I had a lot of trouble getting through this one. I don't think Layala is a very strong female lead and I felt like the story just kept going on and on. I love the elements of this book and the narrators were great.

The best kind of burn

I love that this story didn't rush right away and told us about Layla's and Thane's background, some stories just go to the point but this story gives you insight.
This is important as the story progresses and you see how Layla and Thane get to interact with each other. Character development is on point. Also the burn of this story is just right, it's spicy with a hint of patience for the reader. You can't rush great things 😉 and Thane's spicy replies will leave you wanting for more

Better than first book

This book was a better story than the first. Less lazy storyline and more about the characters. There were some slow spots.

Wonderful!

All I can say is that I’m so glad book 3 is available! The story, narration, pacing were great. Even though I knew the ending was going to be big, I didn’t know it would be so epic!

Omfg

I like audio books and I love to read but OMFG! This audio book was absolutely incredible. The acting, voices, depth of detail was outstanding. I am so happy I decided to listen this time of round. It’s absolutely beautiful

Okay, I’m invested

I’m so mad I jumped back into this book because now I have to wait for the third. Ugh… I don’t know how but this is the first time I have had narraters duet like this and I loved it so much! They are perfect for this book, I love each of their voices for each character you can really tell who everyone is and it’s so fun! I do agree with another review, there are some parts that miss. Like the banter between the MC, her in and out of being strong and she elf. I want to be totally invested in her but for the sake of not spoiling the story I will just wait. Thank you for the journey! Can’t wait for three!

Awesomeness

Loved the narration and writing. Amazing can't wait for the third book!! Absolutely amazing read the first book first otherwise you'll be lost.

How all audiobooks should be narrated

The narration was fantastic, I loved that even during chapters from the male perspective, they had a woman voice the female characters (and vice versa). It makes listening so much more enjoyable!

Oh, and the story was good too. But seriously, every author should take note and have this method of narration done for their book as well. It makes it so much more enjoyable!
