Undeterred, Diarmid carries the stubborn beauty off to his Highland stronghold. Yet, as the captive lady reveals her deepest secret - and the warrior opens his closed heart - a perilous enemy emerges to threaten them. Soon, they must rely on each other - and a miracle only love can bring....

Susan King tells a very creative unique story. The motions well executed in narration make the reader/listener feel they are there!

Unique story!

I enjoyed this book. Adventure and love. The narrator that read this book was awesome. I wanted to hang on his every word!

The narrators voice

The graphic details in which the author has described seasickness literally brought me back to my years in the Navy! The main characters names were distracting (not in a good way)in addition to Michael’s inability to be “brave”. Really, after all she went through, she frequently had difficulty summoning up the courage to stand up for herself and speak??!! Narration was difficult to understand throughout the whole story-as it spred up then slowed down then he went to a whisper. Overall, drawn out in sections and just “meh”.
