Interesting Story- a little predictable but Good

If you’ve listened to books by Kerrigan Byrne before, how does this one compare?

This was a nice book, but one main conflict of the story was very predictable. Byrne's stories are usually totally unpredictable. I just think the fact of who Dorian is was drawn out a little too far. Farah and Dorian go through quite a bit. I don't think confirming or revealing his identity earlier would have hurt the storyline. Once I moved on past that fact, the story was VERY good.

What about Derek Perkins’s performance did you like?

His reading is comforting - he does a good job with accents. It took several chapters to get into his voice....it was worth the wait. He starts out kind of stiff and then loosens up around chapter 3.

Stellar on all levels

Every aspect of this book was exhilarating, romantic, charming, and wicked. I have never read a book by Kerrigan Byrne, yet I can already see myself going down a rabbit hole of the next books by this author. I would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone who loves romance!

Powerful/Captivating

I wept for the sweetness of the little boy and girl. Such a tender sweet love. This story was told to perfection constantly keeping you on edge twisting and turning. I did about 3/4 of the way through get a little tired of the no touch me thing. This was my first book by this author but I loved it and will read more. The narration was amazing as always.

Good, dark story

Great narrator. Good story. A bit too dark of a back story for my liking.

the opening chapter sealed it

Dorian and Farah were meant to be. They went through so much to get their forever. The journey was wor th it all in the end. This was heartbreaking, heart warming, and eye opening.

Derek Perkins have won himself a follower.
