I love the Slate City series, its top tier OV reading and have reread them multiple times. The narrators of this story bring to life all the feels and emotions of the story. Loved listening to every second of this book.

I love the story but hate this voice actor

So I was super excited to find this series on the audiobook thing but omg back to back with this chick is too much. She elongates and longs for weird parts. Like I love when voice actors put themselves in it and act but she can only do one voice act and does it for everything all the time. I don’t even know if I can finish this bc I’m already done listening to the same weird crap every single chapter. I keep longing for the guys POV so I get a break from her. If she reads the third I won’t buy it bc I was already kind of not into that book or it’s my least favorite in the series and definitely won’t waste money just to listen to her read it and ruin it more. I will even be making sure I listen to none of her books from now on. The story is definitely worth it and the dude seems cool, we don’t really get much of him since they don’t have him read the male parts during the girls POV. But those chapters are good. She’s just keeps longing for everything and it’s so annoying like no reason to long for everything in every chapter, a few times it would work but since it’s overdone it’s annoying even then. Now I’m repeating things too but I swear I just can’t with it, I’m going to speed it up and get this book over with so I can move on to another book. I even checked to made sure this actor didn’t read the other Omegeverse books I bought on Audible, that’s how much I’m done with her.

story is great

Story is great but why do you even list the two voice actors if they aren't going to do all the voices? I loathe her attempt at male voices. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong type of audible? DNF I'm sure the story was there but the narration wasn't.

Holy Crap That!!!

For a second book in a series that was tremendous. The twists and turns in the book were an amazing journey of love, loss, lust, fear, worry, and so many more emotions that you can help but just keep going to the end. Petra and her Alpha's are so special and the amount of love is amazing. Her family shows so much of what loss, deception, remorse, power, and grief can do to a person. Can't wait to start the last book.

Great storyline!

I’m new to paranormal and omegaverse romance books. I LOVED this book! The story really pulled me in. I laughed, I cried, and I fanned my face. Great spice!🌶️🌶️🌶️

What was not to love? Spicy

OK this definitely has lots and lots of heat. Oh boy does it got all kind of going on .. ohhh laaa ahhh so was not disappointed. I had a good story loving oh my gosh sexy as hell guys bitch stepmom even though that’s not what I go for but it was good and did I mention the heat oh my gosh such fire love the toys.

Finding my pal

Amazing Story of love and sacrifice

Lessa Lamb is an amazing narrator. I literally don't myself lost inside the storyline the can FEEL the emotions. this series has been great from start to finish. now to listen to Sloans story!

for it to be just one book it was long which is good and doesn't just cut the story line down and it was different as far as the main story line but the whole one woman and several men is getting kinda old and over done to death but overall the book is good and a good read.
