Captivating Performances

Okay, folks, buckle up because this audiobook by Ana Huang is an absolute treat! Kai, the charming billionaire, and Isabella, the sassy and carefree beauty, make the perfect pair. Narrators David Lee Huynh and Emery Erickson brought these characters to life with incredible performances. The story had a few minor hiccups, and their chemistry was a bit flat, but it was a fun listen. I can't wait for the next installment in the series!

I absolutely fell in love with Kai and Isabella. King of Pride was a fantastic read, I really enjoyed the forbidden love and secret relationship tropes and the storyline was really fun. I was able to listen to this one and thought that David Lee Huynh and Emery Erickson both did an AMAZING job with this duet narration. I loved David's accent and thought he portrayed Kai so perfectly.

The whole CEO storyline took some twists I really wasn't expecting and I loved it so much. The way it ended up was *chef's kiss* Kai really should think about his drama gig *lol* I loved to hate Isa's family drama too. I adored Felix and wanted to kick Gabriel square in his nutties. I was really happy with how that storyline ended up too.

There was a lot of little fun side plots like with Kai's mom, Felix and more. The side characters were really great in this one and getting little Twisted Easter Eggs was the best. I am so excited for what's to come in this Kings of Sin series, Ana has me wrapped about her pen for sure.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Another great story from this author! She really takes a deep dive into the lives of these characters! Little bits revealed as the story moves along just drag me deeper into their storyline. The author does a wonderful job at giving me the bare bones of the story with snippets into what could happen as I try to figure it out myself. She involves intricate storylines into the high expectations of these characters. Well Done! I look forward to the next!!

I listened to this on audio. Emery Erickson and David Lee Huynh are the perfect narrators for these characters. Granted Mr Huynh does the males but he rocks as the haughty reserved Kai Young. Every syllable uttered sounded perfect. Ms Erickson brings forth the fun loving vibes from her purple haired tattooed Isabella. This is done in DUET narration which just adds to the joy of this one!

PERFECTION

I knew the audiobook was going to be absolute perfection and of course… it was! Ugh getting to hear these characters come alive is unlike anything else. The way the narrators depict the emotions, the scenes, everything is just performed so well. This is one that I didn’t want to ever stop listening to. The story is phenomenal, the characters are ones you never want to leave and the plot kept me invested the entire time. Can’t recommend enough!

Good story, bad accent

I liked the storyline and the relationship but the fake British accent nearly made me DNF this book because it’s so bad. I powered through but whenever it was his POV I couldn’t take the book as seriously. I think I’d like this one better if I just read it instead of listening.
