I wasn’t crazy about the reading at first because it was choppy, but as I pushed forward, I appreciated the vulnerability. It’s a great book that teaches one mindfulness, compassion, and my favorite chapter was Chapter 11

If you follow all of the magnetism and manifesting stuff of the last 40 years, nothing in this book will be revelatory, but the personal story that Jim tells here will open your heart,  if, by his example, you can just meditate once or twice a day. It can change your life!

Alphabet of the Heart

This book was a professional recommendation. However, it impacted me on a very personal level which in turn will impact my professional life. A very well written book with a story that can resonate with many. I started and finished it in one day. I didn’t want to stop listening. I believe you can listen to this book at all stages of life and gain appreciation for what you learn and can teach others.

Amazing story. I loved this book. What an incredible story, of this amazing man. Such strength and also sadness, and resilience. Compassion, love & kindness are the major themes running through this wonderful book. I loved that it was narrated by the Author whose story it was about. He rose to such heights with his intention and visualization through the techniques Ruth taught him.
