Umm 🤔 well yeah it was good

This was a decent listen but not something I am dying to listen to again. Honestly it was meh. Not sure why it didn’t grip me but I found the ending to also be disappointing. It seemed so easy.

Story went off plot a few times.

Supposedly in book one her sister is her half sister birthed by her stepmother. In book 2 and beyond she becomes a full sibling and her soul was sold to the devil by their mother.

It's a little sick that lucifer some Beatriz as a baby and raised her and now they are in love. Talk about some straight up Stockholm syndrome.



But other than that it's a nice series. Nothing to really write home about, but not a huge disappointment like others.

I struggled alot with.the narration. At many times it seemed like there was no understanding of punctuation as most things rolled into one another.

The story was OK buy not nearly enough reverse romance or romance.

Don’t bother, this doesn’t get better… i can’t believe i paid for it. The concept was intriguing, the reality was disappointing.

mc is obnoxious, story is flat, and writing just feels.. like a high school student's creative writing assignment as opposed to a polished professional work.

I was super excited to hear the Inferno from a modern view point. I haven't read the original, but was looking forward to comparing the two. The writing is juvenile, the story more geared toward teenagers than adults, but ok, I can work with that. When you finally get to actual erotica, in the second book, the writing is even worse! The narrators young voice makes the awkward sexual language even worse. There is so much the authors could have done with symbolism and the gray areas of sin, especially using sex, but this was a flat, awkward read i couldn't finish. Just imagine one of the Spice Girls narrating, combined with the over use of the word "whatever". Hard pass, don't waste your money.

Really wish I didn't pay for this

I can't finish this. Too many plot holes and inconsistencies. Her baby sister is stolen by the devil and she's so worried and has to get to her, but wait, 1st let's grope an angel and lust after a 3 headed dog and a werewolf. Let's go, let's go let's go, but 1st let's stop for a drink in a pub and some more angel groping. "I have no intentions of trying to get out. I'm trading myself for my sister" but then "how will we get out when the time comes". Tris was her half sister birthed by her step mom after her mom drank herself to death, but then somehow her full blooded sister and their mom sold the babies soul? really wish I didn't pay for this, idk who the editor was, or if there were Arc readers but they failed in their jobs. Had I not been on an 8 hr straight drive, with no access to other books, I wouldn't have listened to as much as I did.
