Great story line

It had a great storyline and the speaker spoke clear. The only issue I didn’t like was the glitches where they spliced the readers voice.

I really enjoy this set of audio books among the love story it's the best

Good book, horrible narrator

The story line of this book was good , however the narrator was just wrong for this series. Her accents where horrible and often it was hard to tell when she skipped characters.

I believe she would be okay in other books but for this one it was all wrong. I couldn't get past the first few chapters and just downloaded it on my kindle to read so I could enjoy the book.

Narrator was terrible

I can’t get over the narration of the book. The book it’s self was ok but the narration was just atrocious!!!

the person who did the audio was awful. needs to to be re-done, with a different voice actor.

my honest review

so I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first or I would not have gotten the book. I don't think it's as horrible as everyone makes it out to be. I think it had great characters and an amazing plot. I don't think that the reader was as awful as everyone makes her out to be. I agree that she wasn't the best and maybe this is her first book or so. it's not easy to read a book out loud and no way can she please EVERYONE. there are always going to be complaints. however I think with a bit more practice she can be an amazing reader. I felt like maybe this was her first time reading a full book out loud and then to have to record and it all on top of it takes work and practice. she can be great if she practices more. overall I really liked the book. yes it was hard to listen to in spots but I always correct them in my own head anyway so I didn't find it to hard to get past it.

Great story, goofy voices for some characters

the narrator for some characters leaves something to desire, but it is a good story, so you can get past some of the goofy voices.

Narrator performance

I loved the story, bur wasnt a fan of the narrator. She read some characters so slowly, that their voices didn't sound natural and some of the mwn sounded as if they were slow

It's hard to listen to

I love these stories. However, the narrator leaves so much to be desired. Her tone and inflection of words was awful. The characters were hard to decipher. She made the main character so "whiny" it was impossible to finish. I wish audible had a refund possible if you haven't listened to more than the first few chapters.

Good story, HORRIBLE narration!!!

the story itself was actually very good, but I almost couldn't get through it. The narrator was absolutely horrible!!! She was unable to do a male voice to save her life, her accents almost made my ears bleed and the pausing every third or fourth word gave me nightmares of William Shatner!
