great book I love it

good book and enjoy everything about character and surprise though of book I love it

lazy writing

The writing just seems lazy they skip forward to just try to get on to the next thing and end up missing a lot of time in detail.

Good start to an RH series

My favorite genre is RH and this one doesn’t disappoint. So far I wished it had a little more mystery as it’s an easy going listen but I don’t really feel invested in the characters. Hopefully the next book will have more excitement and give me more feels.

Pretty good

This story is pretty good but it seems rushed, and the MFC is sort of an idiot sometimes, like the clueless sort that gets a bit annoying. Interesting story though.

Cheese with that?

Mostly I liked the story, except when Jolie would go off on her poor me, boo goo, whine whine. Ugh! And then she was ok again before she started being annoying again. But I liked everyone else in the story.

Cringing

Vague trauma dump for the protagonist- but don't worry she's totally unfazed by it. So unfazed we have to talk about it multiple times. The protagonist nearly dies, but her life is saved by guy #1. What's trauma again? He says she *owes* him a date. Right then. Which is fine because he's hot. So they go to dinner, her paying. While on the date (that she blew off her friends for, but never told them she was), she gets drunk and thinks about how she doesn't want to start her life in a new city with a one-night stand... so she bangs the (presumably rich AF) architect dragon in... a filthy alley while 3 sheets to the wind. Seriously? At least he used a condom? I can't go any further.

I can't suspend my disbelief to enjoy it. Sorry. If you don't mind that sort of entitled rape-y behavior from your main fellas and a bunch of CPSD in your erotica as long as they're hot/rich/powerful, the narrator is great and the story is cohesive.

I feel torn about this series. Yes I'll keep listening because I hate to leave a series after I've started. However, the MC is so whiny and it becomes annoying. The guys are all different types of shifters or magical in some way. I feel like they are great characters. She is up and down. They've constantly assured her she's what they want and want to mate her. She's like oh I don't know how you'll feel in 3 years, or I hate to confine you to me forever, or everything happens because of her and it just gets tiring.

Made it to the end, it didn’t get any better

The Premise was a great idea with the MC as a “gamer girl”. A gamer girl who is frustratingly, agonizingly immature. The story wasn’t bad, but the MC is unrealistic, and her lack of simple adult maturity makes hue totally unrelateable.

Excellent read.

I really enjoyed this book. It had a quirky heroine. Handsome love interest and a nice story that was easy to get into. I can’t wait to listen to the entire series.
