Joe and humanity as a whole messed up pretty badly, managing to get some of the most important people from both the Elven and Dwarven races killed. Now the war is escalating to unprecedented levels, and only one side needs to worry about being slain. With the attackers knowing they can get right back up after dying, they are throwing themselves against their centuries-long foe without caring for the consequences.

As the death toll rises, there’s still hope for Joe and the people that he chose to align himself with. His tiny Hamlet is hidden away from the Elves, so the Ritualist gets a quest to escort the core of the Dwarven Oligarchy to safety: their History, and those that lived it. If he can manage to save even a few as the Dwarven Oligarchy begins to Implode, the race might one day have a chance to regain their former glory.

There’s only one major issue with convincing the war-loving Dwarves to escape the final battle and hide away: they’re war-loving Dwarves.

Good Series update

Another good addition to the series. Love the story progression, and the world building. Looking forward to the next book!

never gonna stop

I've been here since the first book, listened to the prequel series as well and I can't wait for the next installment in this series! magical, hilarious, and massively interesting in terms of the world and what it can do.

Good

With the weather audible reading system works, anything less than five stars is essentially a thumbs down. In short, this book delivers what its predecessors have, and it was enjoyable. I liked the earlier books in the series better, but at least the writer committed to the new theme and built on it.

Another great leg of the journey

I love the series and am happy to be along the ride with Joe. It’s exciting to see where the story goes next!

Usually good pronunciation buuuut…

Ok. When there is a word that repeats over and over throughout a book, you will want to know how to pronounce it. Bifrost. Long i sound. As in Bicycle and Biweekly. Not short i sound as the narrator uses. Aside from that the narrator is great.

This is also a great example of how you should never name a character after a living person though. As they could yet do things in their lives that alienate your audience or divide your readership and detract from your writing.

Can’t wait.

Can’t wait for The next part. I’m not sure where this is going but I love the ride.

Good story

As title says good story parts did drag a bit but enjoyed it overall. Probably should of ended but earlier and then made last hour or so first part of next book.

Shattered and escaped

Joe lead the dwarves to a critical attack on the elves and then escaped to the next area. I like how powerful Joe has become even if he can get full of himself. You master contest was interesting, Jumping vs. Sarcasm.
