Not much

Was hoping for lots of cool stuff about the dog and his actions etc. instead got a lot of blood and gore and not much about the dog. Gave up at chapter 36

Awesome Canine Action Novel

A great story about a man healing from life and his dog pack--Max is superb, and Pilgrim is a great dog, too! The author gives us too perspectives--Gil, the human Alpha in the equation, and Max, the Belgian Shepherd who has aspirations of leading the pack one day... Together, they, along with Pilgrim, make a great PI Team, ready to serve to the death! Looking forward to hearing the next in the series!!

Beautiful story of man and dog saving each other

Loved Gil's and Max's back story and how a broken and strong-willed man and an equally strong-willed dog come together as a pack.

One of the best books ever!

Everything about this book was fabulous! Love this author and would love to hear more of his writings. The reader is also one of the best.

I liked when Max was thinking about his past life before Gil saved him by killing the bear.

no dogs died,that's the best stories, plus the bad men got caught. more please. very good humor.

GREAT New Friend to follow

Enjoy getting to know Gil and Max. Great story leaving you wanting to keep up on their life. Enjoying the series it is nice to get to grow and know them. Great insight into the world of trained dogs.

excellent plot plan, many pla es to end, BUT twisted. Dog's POV appreciated.

Was told it is a "clean" book, but it is too graphic for middle schoolers and high school dog lovers.

Lots of action

I really enjoyed the story, the guy who does the narration was interesting. sometimes he talked really fast when he got excited, it definitely kept my attention so he's growing on me.
