Obsessed!!

I love these two so much. This was a great second book to the series & I can’t wait for the third 😭 Their love story was so sweet & I loved seeing Ivan actually work through his emotions & trauma & having them come out happy in the end. It was just absolutely perfect 🥹❤️

I read this book first and absolutely fell in love with it. Listening to Ivan and Aiden come to life I fell in love all over again. Perfect narration for the perfect story!

Perfection

I've reread this book a handful of times and couldn't wait till the audio came out; I wasn't dissapointed!! It's just as good, if not better than the first. I love anything Sherwood but this series is just so, so good. The narrator's were absolutely fabulous as well. The total package!

Good story

The series is intersting, the MC Aiden is adorable and I am keeping it short so I can continue with book 3. I recommend AJ Sherwood books! ❤️💜🧡🧡

I love these books they are stupendous I can’t wait for the third part of the unholy trifecta to come out on audiobook.

Like this story. Ivan's a little depressed despite his adventurous spirit, and Aiden's a lot uptight, but you know they'll work it out because this is a series about a chosen family--the very best kind of family. Unlike other M/M books, this story has a continuing and strong focus on the child coming up while focusing on the romances between her mentors and the further development of her chosen family. It's a romance, but it's also partly a continuation of how she grows and thrives within her family group.

Who else would come up with a nonjudgmental book about a child being safer among thieves and assassins who raise her the proper way versus a so-called "normal" family beating and berating her until she pays an assassin to to stop the pain--except for AJ Sherwood? And who writes a good book about a friend and thief who protects and helps educate this same child as he falls in love for the first time while working to continue to form this family for her with his friends Ari, Carter, and K? AJ Sherwood. Oh, I almost forgot about the crime, which makes up most of the story. AJ loves the unusual storyline AND unusual characters, and that's why I love this author.

Thanks AJ for the unusual tropes and family match-up and for making it, not clean, but more along realistic and healthy lines. I appreciate the more true to life romance between the adults.

Ivan's a$$ for taking Remy out with him in public for no reason when the city is crawling with thieves/criminals that know them and Robert would be someone they are following to find the stamp. She is still a soft target and that was one of the main points in the first book *********SPOILER






and nothing has changed about any of their lives and situs in that regard.

While the dual narration does a better job than a lot of them in keeping characters voices w/accents consistent, Iggy Toma's voices for Carter and Ari (and sometimes) Kyou sound too similar at times, expecially in convos.
