• A child
• A raiding party
• Arman actually using his words

Life once again proved reality is better than fantasy, and Ren couldn’t be happier.

Except for the Mongs. He could do without the Mongs.

Love it!

I have read this myself many times along with the first one. The narration of this book has really brought the characters to life. I love narrator's way of giving each one their own individuality. If I didn't know better, I'd think there was more than one narrator. 😊

Excellent sequel!

The characters were very believable and the story sucked you in right away. The story began where it left off in the first book so there was continuity. Looking forward to a third book.

Awesome story

I liked the world development that is both alien and familiar. I was moved by the relationships of romantic, parental, familial and friendship love the characters were involved in.

Great continuation of the story

Liked the story, main characters, side characters. It’s a happy feel good type of story, no major angst. Enjoyable. Note: there is one audio error. The narrator clears his throat and then repeats the most recent few words before continuing on. It is obvious but somehow didn’t throw me too far out of the story.
