Loved this book!!

I loved this book! Everything about it! The heroine, the hero, everything! Love! Can’t wait to read more by this author!

If you like characters who self medicate their anxiety with alcohol then this book is for you.

As for the rest of us we will find books that reveal healthier ways of coping.

Great story. Steamy sex and romance. I would definitely read more books from Amy Rose Bennett! One of my favs!

Sweet Story

The heroine and hero were wonderful characters. The story was also lovely. However, the Scottish accent was terrible. It was difficult to get through, Hamish deserved better.

Not a great narrator

I've been enjoying this series and the previous narrator. She does the different voices and the Scottish brogue very well.
While this narrato does a good brogue, she speaks extremely s l o w l y, to the point of madness. Speed her up to a normal speaking speed and listening is then enjoyable.

Enjoyed It.

I liked the story very much. It was well written. I think narrator did a great job. Really loved the characters, except Olivia's family and servants; they were a despicable lot, along with young Thackery, the solicitor's son. Didn't like that they were allowed to abscond with so much of Olivia's money and weren't dealt with in the book.

This is just AMAZING

Excellent narration, wonderfully developed heroine and great story.

I do wish I could’ve had a little more closure with that POS Felix but still loved it.

Why do all English narrators sound as if they are asking a question?

In the last three months I have listened to 20 historical romances. (I’ve been on the depressed side and needed to pick up my spirits.). Anyway, with every book each English female actor seems like they are asking a question with every line. They let their voices go up at the end of every sentence. It’s unnerving! And irritating. That has been true throughout these past three months. What a nice surprise to hear Elizabeth Jasicki. She is truly a skilled narrator. She doesn’t go too fast or too slow and she actually reads the script as it should be without asking questions when there are no questions to ask. I found the performance of this book quite enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical romance.

Loved it

Cinderella meets Prince Charming. By chance, Olivia meets her neighbor who has invaded her dreams for months. She takes a risk and embarks on an adventure as she acts as a governess for his ward. Off to the Scottish Highlands where she has to convince her new husband that they are meant to be together. But he resists. What happens when they return to London? Ah, the adventure continues.

Very romantic

It was a simple romantic story. Easy to follow and read with accents and emotion.
