Wonderful ending to an equally wonderful series

I'm so sad this series is over. I didn't want it to end. I loved Charlie's story and I loved her and Max together. We of course got to read of the other couples in this book which was great. I really wish that Diane had gotten her own book. I just love this author. We also got to find out who was responsible for the gossip column. Dual povs and an HEA. I would absolutely recommend this book and the whole series.

Love the entire series, this is the perfect end.

Great characters, steamy tension throughout book, not a lot of rediculous decision making because they dramatically "just can't be together" or assume the worst of every situation.

Wonderful series to the end!

I adored this series so much! I loved each of the main characters. I really wish the series wasn't over. I am looking forward to reading more from this author! As for the narration... I enjoyed the lady that narrated the 1st 2 books. The 2nd lady was good once I sped up the reading to 1.2. The 3rd lady was hard to listen to at times. Her voice for the main characters were missing something. Then Arabella and Hamish's Scottish accents were not really there. Pronouncing Sleet as Slate was bothersome as well. Not trying to be nit picky, but in a series you get used to characters/pronunciations. I really wish the last book in the series had ended with a bang in the narration dept since the story was so good.

Loved this whole series!!! Amazing author and the narrator was so good, she brought the stories to life!

Beautiful yet tasteful

Though risqué the characters were realistic, and wholesome for the times. I especially liked the boldness of the ladies.

Good, but...

The narrator failed to give the proper level of excitement when it was needed. Ms. Bennett wrote a pretty good finale to the series, if you overlook the use of "prevaricate" in place of "procrastinate," and the occasional extended flowery speech (which the editor should have picked up); however, the slow pace of the narrator made the story seem to drag at times, and the lack of emotion in her voice during clearly emotional scenes definitely took away from the quality of the piece. I'm not certain if the mispronunciations were due to a difference in dialect, or the result of neither the narrator nor the editor/producer knowing any better. I do recommend the book, in spite of these drawbacks. I do believe that many of the loose ends were tied off in this story. Several shocking revelations kept me on my toes!

Worst Narrator EVER.

I have loved this series. But this is the worst narrator. First of all, is that even an English accent??? What the f? It’s so cringy to listen to I could barely listen and it’s so disappointing bc Charley’s book was one I was most looking forward to because I knew it would be filled with adventure! I should’ve just read this on my own and not listened to it bc it is ruining it. Great book just don’t listen. Please don’t put this person on any more English books.

Good story but not as good as previous in series.

Also, the fact that the reader sounded like someone’s great grandmother was awkward especially during the love scenes.

Liked the story. Narration could use some improvement.

I enjoyed the story and finally getting to hear Charlie’s happy ending. But the narrator needs to work on her accents and make voices. None of the characters with Scottish accents sounded like they had Scottish accents. And the male voices needed a bit more baritone.
