Well written/narrated!

This book does a great job of teaching you all the secrets of barrel racing and how to compete effectively. It even covers the psychology of horses and how to use this information to your advantage, which was super helpful. Well narrated and written, would recommend.

Exciting Stuff!

This book is not just for people who want to train their horse for barrel racing but it’s ideal for anyone who wants to know how to look after their horse. A horse’s long-term wellness can be enhanced if you treat them carefully and look after them.

Warm your horse up gradually before any training session and your horse will react to you better. This also applies to the cooling down period at the end. This prevents injuries and soreness. As with any training program, you need to create a foundation. Your horse needs to know what to do, this is impossible without a solid foundation.

This is a great book, it’s well produced and well narrated.

Great book

A great listen on how to teach your horse the skills needed for barrel racing. It’s narrated in a really fun way so easy to listen to and follow. Also goes into detail on the psychology of horses and how to use this to your advantage when training

Wow! Much more than I bargained for!

When I see one oh one in a title I kind of always assume a high-level view/introductory level information. But this book was so much more than that! The information was very informative as well as technical and I am certain as a person implements this information it will have a dramatic impact on their performance in barrel racing and overall handling of their horse. I especially got a lot out of the tips and techniques on dealing with the alley. Game changer. I definitely recommend this book for anyone who is aspiring to be a great barrel racer no matter your level.

Definitive winner

This book is great. Very thorough on all aspects of the horse and rider. Even if you’re well trained you can always use a refresher or as a newbie this can help you learn all aspects of building a solid foundation with your horse. Highly recommend.
