Great book on horsemanship

What an interesting read! I've always been fascinated by horses and always admired those who are able to spend time around them and build a bond. This book talks about this in depth, how to choose a horse, how to communicate with them and much more.

Great book

Excellent training techniques as well as excellent understanding of horse behavior make this book one the best books ever written on horsemanship. The book describes the principles of horsemanship such as respect, positive reinforcement, knowing how the horse think will make training much easier. Nutrients needs (vitamins, minerals) needed for the horse function; behavioral training were also explained in this book. Overall, the writer has the ability to communicate with the reader. It is an in-depth look on all aspects of horses. Perfect for first time owners or people that are interested in them.

Great book!

I am so happy I came across this book. My son has enjoyed horses for a few years now and spends many weekends out at the ranch riding and helping out with grooming. I found this book very interesting and informative. I feel like i have developed a better understanding of horses and look forward to discussing many of these topics with my son. The narration was nice and easy to listen to also!

This book has provided some crucial advice and guidance to help read horses' body language and the detailed training methods are of excellent value. This book reminds me of my love for horses

I loved ponies as a child but have not had much experience with horses as an adult. Who would have thought that psychology would enter into the relationship between a horse and me? This book gives me the inspiration to reach out again to understand the 'horse whisperer.'

I really enjoyed listening to this book because I learned a lot about horses in general, how horses express themselves, how to provide good nutrition for them, and how to establish a good relationship with horses based on mutual respect. It is also good to learn about how to train horses in the right way. I really learned a lot from this book and highly recommend this book to all!
