Wonderful Story!

This story follows Jude and Connor, who met when Connor went to Jude's knitting shop to learn to knit. His EMS partner had suggested it as a non-pharmaceutical way to deal with anxiety. Connor stood outside the shop for awhile before he got the guts to go in. There, he met Jude, which quickly became a very good friend, and then more! The Narrator, Kevin Earlywine, has a very unique voice. He did an excellent job of relaying the story! I had read this book awhile ago, and enjoyed it. But there is something about a m/m romance narrated professionally that just makes the story MORE. I highly recommend this book!

I loved this sweet story.

Both characters are super sweet in their own way; Connor is a giant marshmallow, a huge, Thor-like paramedic riddled with anxiety; Judah is an out and proud shop owner with a tendency to fall for the wrong men.
The story is quite emotional, I must admit I got chocked up a couple of times, especially with Connor struggling to come to terms with his attraction to Judah and his fear of everything that might entail.

I’ve never read anything by this author before and I devoured this. I’ve also never listened to this narrator and he had me hooked from the moment I heard Kevin’s voice.

The way that the book starts, I knew instantly that this book was going to be good. I love how we get Connor going into Judah’s place of work to get past his anxiety of looking for yarn that overwhelmed him and that’s when Judah came to help.

I really loved the dynamic of Judah and Connor. I laughed when Judah realized when Connor was talking about his “partner” that it had to do with work. Poor guy wasn’t even sure he was into men at the moment.

When Connor did come out, I about cried when he came out to his brother because they truly made me cry. Eventually, Connor and his brother did talk after Connor was in his feelings, which he had every right to be.

I really loved the coming out and the anxiety that Connor goes though because the way he finds himself is truly beautiful. This was well written and it was everything of all the emotion that was well thought through this book.

I received a copy of this audiobook and this is my honest review.

Hooked

Cute story that makes you feel warm all over. Connor's bi-awakening was a low angst story. Loved Jonah's out proud pins and attitude. And then add in the low stress hobby of knitting is just too adorable. Kevin Earlywine brings a nice narration to the story.
