Bodine family complete

I am so glad that Gibson got his HEA. I knew deep down he was a softy & he had a big secret he was holding back on. I absolutely loved the way he just knew, from one glance that she was it for him. Maya was dealt one heck of a hand in life to play with. But I must say, she made the absolutely best out of what she was given. Even though she hadn’t put down roots, she was thriving. But at some point, roots are what make us whole. She came in like a tornado & made the Bodine family whole.
Bootleg Springs has a way of showing us what we are missing. Just one trip to the quirky town seems to snare all of the good ones to stay & never want to leave.
This book was a perfect end to an amazing series. The mystery and the clues throughout the series were awesome. I loved soaking them in & trying to figure it out for myself.

The audiobook of Highball Rush is so amazing I don’t want it to end ever! Claire Kingsley wrote a masterpiece closing a fantastic series AND she picked narrators that not only does justice to main characters but differentiates between the so many other characters in the book. It’s a delight to the ears of audiobooks lovers. Even if you read the book, listening to it it’s a whole new experience. Love love love it!!!

What a way to wrap up the series!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This series was freaking amazing!!! I love the small town and all it’s people!! Each book is unique and gives little tidbits to the missing person investigation. I felt like it was going one way and then bam…. Some little twist!! This was such a great finale to the series. Who doesn’t love a grumpy guy!!! Gibson was a grouch throughout the whole series but he was justified in his reasons. He always kinda kept to himself. It’s not until a friend from his past comes to town that chips away slowly at this wall he’s built around himself so we start to see the softer side of him!!
Also all the extra little epilogues at the end were fantastic! It gave closure not to just the couples but also people in the town. I also loved the break down in conversation between both authors and what they thought these books should be about and how they all tie to each other.
The narrators were simply freaking AMAZING!!!! ❤️🎧

My favorite series!

This has been my favorite series by far! I loved the building mystery of Callie Kendall that evolved throughout each book. It added an extra layer to the story and kept me hooked. I had a “who done it” theory about the Callie case that surprised me when my hunch was correct, because all the twists and turns with details kept me second guessing. This was more than just a romance series of boy meets girl, falls in love, has a fight, makes up, and lives happily ever after.
