Scandalous!

When I chose this novel, I was looking for something instantly engaging. I also wanted to enjoy listening to it. Sarah Bonner's The Perfect Twin fits the bill on both requirements. This audiobook contains multiple narrators, but I am happy to say the casting is perfect.

Megan decides to confront her awful twin about a bizarre extra-marital affair, and it goes the absolute worst way imaginable. It's so hard to reveal any more of the plot without spoilers. This novel was action-packed from the start. It's filled with scheming narcissists deceiving and seducing each other. At first, I thought it was pretty straightforward, but there were some twists that even I did not see coming. This book stretches the imagination in parts, but it is fun and fast-paced.

Plot holes but entertaining

A huge plot hole never gets tied up. Why do we know more about the lawyers background then why the twin hate each other? Why is the lawyer even in this story.

Kept me hooked

At first I thought I knew how this book would go. Was I wrong. Fun story.

Too unlikely for my taste

You can't help thinking that all it would take to know which one is which is to speak with the friends to match memories of conversations or things they have done together.

Follow along...closely

Twists and turns I didn't see coming. Please be warned if you have abuse triggers. For me overall entertaining listen, kept me interested and listening to the end. Great narration.

Too confusing and a little far fetched

The story got a little over the top with the goal. Regardless of how much two people look alike switching lives at their age is improbable. Nice idea not enough research to make it plausible

The beginning is a little slow, but quickly picks up the pace. Enjoyed this book!

This may be my favorite psychological thriller

I really enjoyed this book. It definitely gets an A+ for originality in my opinion. I also thought alll the characters were very well developed, and all the little details fit into place with the story as a whole. It also raises questions in my mind as to whether real justice won in the end.

Twisted and well written thriller! Great narration as well. Loved everything about this book and hope to find more like it.
