This is a must read/listen! I have listened to two Anni Taylor books and love them both. The narrator is excellent and you will be swept up by the story!

Unique Story Line

I ALWAYS love a read that keeps my mind working, trying to put the pieces of the story together to enjoy the images it reveals.
This is definitely to my liking!

Thoughtfully written characters & well-crafted story

I wasn’t sure what to expect here but dove in. As I have 3 sisters and a half sister, I can say the author accurately depicts the complexity of sisterhood. This is a story about women and family more than a disappearance mystery. I enjoyed all of it even the difficult bits. Highly recommend.

A great listen!

It’s a great story with turns you never see coming. It’s been a long time and a lot of books to get to this one. Worth every minute.

Loved it!!

I have read/listened to all but two of Anni Taylor’s books and have loved all of them, but this one really kept my attention till the very end.
I am both very happy to find out what happened, but also very sad that the book has come to an end.
I love her attention to detail; both with characters as well as all the locations/settings. It’s almost like I’m watching a movie. She creates believable characters that you end up feeling like you know them from somewhere.

Her books make me want to visit Australia someday!!

I’m looking forward to more by Anni Taylor. Narration was great.

Lovely, Harrowing, Interesting…..

What a gut-punch of a story! Unpredictable plot line as well. I will definitely be looking to read more work from this author as this story was nuanced, the characters sympathetic & well-developed, the villain(s) tough to identify, the setting varied & beautiful, the ending poignant & fitting….a five star novel all around.

This was good, I loved that road trip too!

And I love this narrator! Although I agree with another reviewer her mispronunciations of some things are pretty funny but it’s not that big of a deal. I definitely hope she does more bc she is definitely one of the best I’ve listened to!
