The best slow burn ever.

Love it everytime, the story and the characters just got better with that voice. The story never ceases to amaze me.

Gus!!!

Can I take a moment to say that the narrators understood the assignment and DID EPIC!!!! Holy smokes. I love everything that Gus and Scouts story is. I lobr the pain and the growth and the imence feelings of the whole book. Gus starts where Brightside lead off and its such a beautiful ride especially since i know exactly how he feels but by the end, Ive found my way back to joy. it is my most fervent wish that Brightside and Gus find their way into every reader soul when they need it the most. when they are happy or sad or at their lowest low and need a light to beleive in or when they are at their highest high and scared its not real and life will fail them. i hope that like me, these books bring them such overwhelming joy and love that they cant help but look on the bright side, do epic. and try to make each and every day better.

Amazing narration

Loved this story and the narrators got the assignment they were Epic! Highly recommend listening to this series.

I’ll start off with saying Bright Side shattered me but Gus so happily put my heart back together this series has been amazing can’t wait for the rest thank you thank you thank you

I couldn’t stop!!!

This entire series has a hold on me and won’t let go!! I couldn’t stop listening to this book once I started. I didn’t think there was anyway it could rank up there with the first one but boy was I wrong. I was smiling through the tears with this one💗.

Emotionally charged

and great technical details. Loved the narration. Although I am not sold on Gus and Scout development. That is probably because I wasn’t sold totally on Kate and Keller. Just personal opinions.

Great sequel to Brightside!!

I wasn't sure about this one because Brightside was great! This was just as great I couldn't stop listening just like with Brightside!!! Now I can't wait yo listen to Franco I just hope it's as awesome!!!

Gut wrenching but beautiful

This story hit me in all the feels! The pain and anguish that both Gus and Scout were navigating was deep and seeing them help the other heal was just absolutely stunning.

Their journey started out rocky. Gus was not the best version of himself but when Scout came into his life everything changed. Their friendship was slow going but built the foundation they both craved.

I cried so many times but this story also healed something within me that I can’t explain. Anyone who reads a Kim Holden book comes out with a fresh take on life.

The audio of this book was enjoyable and I’m happy I experienced the story this way but the male narrator’s female voice was not stellar. I was able to get through it but it was not my fave.

Overcoming grief and finding love again.

Loved to follow up from the first book. New characters and wrapping up the story of Gus.
