In the future...only the strong survive....

New London—a city of wondrous technology, where cyborgs and androids reign, and the fate of many is decided by bloody PvP. But this violent metropolis may also hold the secret to the true location of Citadel, and Reece and his friends are running out of time to save their home.

With Gilly and Becky now saved from the Labyrinth, Reece turns his attention to the original mission of saving Citadel. But in order to discover it, they’ll need to leave the fantasy realm of Nasgar and cross the wild to explore a harsh and futuristic dystopia in hopes of accessing the archives that may lead them to their home. But as they face powerful enemies, a blood-thirsty AI and challenges like never before, a dark secret from Rembrandt’s past threatens to bring it all undone.

But before even that, Reece will need to face his own demons from the past, and an arch nemesis who still stands in his way.

Join Reece as he uncovers more mysteries within the Crystal Shards and confronts the strange new enemy that threatens both it and his home. In order to defeat them, he’ll need to unlock even more powers within the game world and grow into the man and leader that his team needs him to become.

Warning: Contains RPG mechanics, detailed party combat, and giant boss fights. If these things do not interest you, then this is not the audiobook for you!

Many twist and turns. I love it! I love the characters and how deep the author went. Love the action, comedy a bit of romance. Keep it coming! I just wish it never ended.

Wow

It's been brought up already but the inconsistency between "mob" (like mob riot) and "mobe" (like probe) gets a bit annoying. Doesn't take away from the overall experience but it also is a place for improvement.

Great performance but one small issue...

I was enjoying this book immensely it is a great lit RPG book the only thing I disliked about this book and the previous book was the pronounce I ation of mobs other than that I am loving this series

Amazing book. Love the series. First flaw is minor which is narrator keeps saying mobes.

SPOILER:
The bigger problem is that the time dilation in this book was backwards. In the second book. 1 hour was 3 hours in the labyrinth and 6 in the core. In this book 2 days pass outside and only a few hours pass in the labyrinth and core. They even expect this outcome when they should be expecting the opposite due to prior experience. This error should have been caught by an editor.

Great Book but 2 flaws

I enjoyed this book. It felt similar to the previous two as far as flow and characters. The only thing that made me cringe was the pronunciation of the word mobs. (flash mob, mobsters, ECT). I have never heard anyone pronounce it as "m-oh-bs" even if it originates from the word mobile, and this book had that word way too many times that I just kept cringing.

A fun continuance.
