Best of the dragon stories

Really well done and well balanced between romance, action, and political intrigue, excellent reading though I thought Annie’s narration was a little slow at times. Highly recommend the series and the audio!

Great political fantasy

I was not expecting much from this series, but it really surprised me in the best way. The complexity of the politics gave me an appreciation for the authors specialty and made it unpredictable in an intriguing way. The added perspectives for each new book always added a new interesting element. The way the author teased the world wider and wider with each additional book, layering on complexities and making callbacks to earlier mentions was masterful. I really enjoyed this series and would definitely read another by this author!

However, my one drawback was the audio narrator for Delo. His voice is quiet and mumbles sometimes, and with the thick accent on top of that, is difficult to understand. It pulled me out of the story to have to be like “what did he say?” The accent alone isn’t the issue, as the others have similar ones and do a great job. It’s really the quiet mumbling of some of the dialogue that was difficult to understand.

I loved the writing and the performances!

I love a good story with lots of dragons. this series has kept me listening every spare minute I had. I look forward to more stories!!

Oh my gosh! This book was so good! It ripped my guys out, and gave some of them back.

Good story line

Very good story line. There were some areas that could have gone into more detail and expanded the back stories and given a better sense of what happened to all the characters in the end. Overall it was pretty good.

Fantastic. All around. Perfect Ending.

Well written. Amazing character development. Overall, one of my favorite fantasy series. I’m sad it has come to an end.

Is this my FAVORITE dragon book of all time?!

I LOVED this series. I am a dragon fanatic, and I think I have found a series that outdoes Fourth Wing. Munda doesn’t need spice to make these books enticing, and they will pull you back and forth with your feelings on the characters.

I think this book was my favorite in the series. The ending was SO bittersweet, but did the characters justice.

I cried, I gasped, I cheered. I loved it all!

Pause… the only thing I DIDN’T love was the voice actor for Delo. His accent is so thick, I literally could not understand so much of what he was saying. I had to go back and re-listen to many parts because I simply couldn’t comprehend the lines.

Other than that… LOVE!

This 3rd was one of my most anticipated realeses this year and OMG this book broke me and put me back together so many times, but WOW what a great ride!

Spoilers spoilers spoilers!!!! Great conclusion! I cried so hard many times. The trail at the end was a little boring though.

Will forever be a favorite series

I loved this series and I am sure I will read it again and again. Looking forward to more from this author.
