Then I laughed when he yelled at me.

Of course, Jonathan couldn’t take the hint. He came around offering to put a little frosting on my Christmas cookies.

I attempted to shank him with a spatula.

He got offended and said that as a judge on The Great Christmas Bake-Off, he was just trying to help.

Sure…

Not that I’m looking for holiday romance.

Christmas is already a stressful time of the year without adding a billionaire to the mix.

Between dodging bake-off sabotaging cousins, applying for a long-shot prestigious museum internship, and trying to survive being broke in Manhattan, I’m up to my black lipstick in my own special nightmare before Christmas.

And it’s making me wound tighter than a nutcracker.

So when Jonathan offers to put some frosting on my cookies — and a few other ornament-shaped parts — his washboard abs and sexy smirk start to seem like the perfect stress relief.

Especially when he offers himself all wrapped up in a bow.

Being truthful is quite helpful in relationships.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part, although there were times I wanted to smack people upside their heads. The characters were interesting and likable with several exceptions that I personally felt belonged where Morticia was sent. Lilith was supportive as a sister, but sometimes maybe a little too much. Emma was a great friend for Morticia but sometimes she felt a bit pushy. Morticia and Jonathan were opposites in many ways. Jonathan definitely seemed drawn to the differences between him and Morticia. I liked both of them but also wanted to smack both of them at times. I also did a lot of laughing at them! There are plenty of feels in this story. I liked the ending but I do wish there was an epilogue further out.

Listening to this audiobook was also entertaining and enjoyable even when I wanted to strangle a couple of the characters. The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the characters and story alive. I recommend listening to the audiobook as well as reading the book itself.

A fun and funny read

Alina Jacobs has released the next Frost Brothers book!

Morticia and Jonathan were so entertaining. They are fairly opposite but there's an attraction between them that they can't ignore.

Just like Alina's other books there is a lot of hilarious dialogue and moments mixed in with the romance. It makes for a story that will keep you laughing and put a smile on your face. I love reading holiday books leading up to Christmas and this was a fun one.

to much sex decriptions

The story line was decent. I didn't appreciated the explicit sex details which took away from the story and not necessary.

I was so excited to see Morticia!!! Love her Wednesday Adams feel.

I listened to the audiobook of this, and loved it! I think that hearing the voices gives you so much more as a reader. You really can feel the emotions. You connect much quicker to the characters as well. These narrators were top notch.

I love this type of book. No angst, comedy, hot billionaires with hot spice thrown in. Nice and light. Is it for everyone? No. But it is my cup of hot chocolate. I don't want to be sad or anxious with the books I read.

This is not the first book in the series, but it can be read as a complete stand-alone. However I think you will get more out of it if you have read the other books as you have met some of the characters before. But don’t let that deter you. This can be a stand-alone. But it will make you want to read all the other books!

First Alina Jacobs Book I listened to! My new favorite author did not disappoint!

Do you want to talk about cracking up late at night, lying in bed next to your husband while he is trying to sleep and you both have to get up the next day to go to work? Well, pull up a chair, grab a snacky snack and let’s have a little sit down because I’ve got a little ditty for ya… I have a problem, I couldn’t stop listening to this book. I would put one earbud in lay down on the other ear and fall asleep. The next morning, I would have to back up to the last place, I remembered and start over. This book is addicting. It is so funny! I would crack up driving down the road. People probably thought I was insane because I was laughing so hard. There was one time I was sitting at my desk at work. Crying because I was laughing so hard. I was trying to be quiet so no one would know that I was listening to my spicy romance while doing my work. Do you know how hard that is? My poor husband was trying to sleep. And I was cracking up laughing making the bed shake. I would give this one six stars. It’s seriously funny. I love a good Christmas romance. The characters are hilarious. The brothers are hilarious! I’m so glad I stumbled upon this author! I’ve seriously put a lot of money into all these audible books from her. I’ve only written a couple of reviews so far because I’ve been gobbling up all of the books. I’ll get around to writing more reviews when I get a chance, but I am very happy listening to all of these Christmas romance books. They’re excellent.
