To many What Ifs

Rachel over thinks situations in the negative way too much. To many what ifs. Seeing the light of getting therapy after letting go of the one you love was the right choice.

Beautiful age-gap romance

Lovely story with depth and nuanced characters. The age-gap is there but is mostly a non-issue. Fame, celebrity status and the feeling of not being good enough are what the MCs struggle with. I love the open communication and reflection within the relationship. And the kindness and respect they show each other. Narration is warm and engaging, very well done.

I really liked this book, the characters were likeable and low angst. Angela Dawe was freaking fabulous as usual.

A Fun Sexy Romp With Depth!

The characters were well developed, love scenes were lots of fun and the backdrop of fame was exciting. But this book is more than that- the underbelly of fame and social media is exposed here. There is depth and some unexpecred plot twists with trust issues, a clever villan and two people who stand in the precipice of growth or taking the easy way out. The hijinks by the main character who loves a dare, is quite entertaining. This story is a great reminder that making assumptions about people rarely gives us an accurate picture of who they really are or what it's like to walk a mile in their shoes.

This book was good. It had humor, sweetness, with a few sad parts. I would say it's a top 50 favorite.

If You Believe in Miracles

Sometimes it’s not what’s on the plate you consume, but rather how it’s presented.
Such is my feeling about this novel.
It’s challenging to believe that anything could happen as it does in this tale of romance between two vastly different people with vastly different backgrounds.

However, this is a romance!
Which means, that you the reader must suspend reality for 7 hours, and buy the entire scenario.
It happens to be a very delightful story that test believability by offering a very intense love affair between a graduate student and an older world famous movie star. Naturally both have a lot of baggage.

It’s challenging sometimes but on the whole, it leaves you rooting for the protagonists as they contend with the antithetical worlds of academia and the movie industry.

It’s fun, hot and rewarding with its hopeful HEA.

An acceptable romance

This book was acceptable but not stellar. The narrator was excellent! It was a very light storyline and sex scenes were very basic and not exciting. I finished it but my interest slowed by the middle of the book! However, the story was sweet!

A must read

This was the best book ever!!! Sequel would be wonderful please. Such a romantic book!
