But when Ana, a ghost from his past, corners him and promises pain for what he so recently did to her, she and her empty threats captivate him, and he decides to keep her around.

In spite of themselves, Ana and Famine are drawn to each other. But at the end of the day, the two are enemies. Nothing changes that. Not one kind act, not two. And definitely not a few steamy nights. But enemies or reluctant lovers, if they don’t stop themselves soon, heaven will.

Loved everything!

I loved these books when I read them alone- but as a dramatized version I love it even more.

Good book - odd background music.

Loved the book! I couldn’t get past the background music sometimes. The music choices for this audiobook were odd choices compared to the rest of the series.

Best so far

I was recommended this series by my sister; she said she liked Famine the least, because it was “too slow.” Naturally, it was my favorite, though it could be slower, bc I love me an agonizingly slow burn lmao. I’ve got Death’s graphic audio on pre-order, and I’m looking forward to it! 🫡

The story is peak

Ugh I hate to say this, but I expected way more when I saw we were getting a graphic audiobook. The background music is honestly not it — especially that metal track. It’s way too loud and doesn’t match the scene at all. And maybe it’s just me, but seeing the ‘end credits’ listed as SEVEN hours?? It just makes it feel like the whole project was rushed and not carefully put together
