Love Vince Flynn's series

I just started to listen to Flynn a couple of months ago. I have now listened to every one of them! I'm addicted to Mitch Rapp. I wonder in my mind what he would look like. I guess that's a woman thing but I do enjoy the books. I don't even mind the cursing... It's just real life and if you don't think so then your head is in the sand. I can't wait until is next one is out. October for the book...not sure about the audio.

Extreme Measures

Good Book, well read. The book leaves you hanging at the end as it does not come to a conclusion. At the end of the book I went back to the Audible web page to verify that I had not forgotten to download the final part. Mitch Rap is stil the Jack Bauer of literature but Vince Flynn needs to finish a story rather than try to addict you to the next novel.

Thrilling as Usual

Mitch Rapp shows that no matter what happens and WHO comes after him, he will do whatever it takes to protect this country and save American lives.

Great book exciting plot and charactors

Amazed!

Love the Mitch Rapp series. It grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go until the end. Even then I wanted the story to continue. I cannot wait to get the next one.

Extreme Pleasure: Reading This Book

Another terrific thriller by Flynn! Can't wait to hear the next novel in the series. And, as always, a masterful performance by George Guidall!

Massively entertaining. Could not put it down

It's a thriller. And it delivers. Let me frontload a few minor issues I thought the book has and then talk about the good stuff:

The core conflict the book explores is: are "extreme measures" justified in interrogation of terrorists and how PC police get in the way of national security. It felt like the author has a point of view and didn't attempt to explore the other side much.

That said, it's an absolute joy to read. There's mission, action, sense of duty, a smattering of heartwarming family scenes in the life of an otherwise hardened CIA officer. The pacing is just right. long action sequences, comic relief and political drama feel authentic.

This book is no Jason Bourne, in that it's not a very complicated plot. But the simplicity doesn't feel wrong. It's a good read.

Solid Mitch Rap Novel

Good story overall. Some aspects more plausible than others, but it did not have the super hero scenes of other author ex-special forces hero novels. I enjoyed the book and look forward to my next Mitch Rap novel.
