heartbreaking but good,....

I'm not a fan of love triangles, but I did enjoy this book. performances were great and poor freaking evan,... ugh,... legit hate love triangles tho,...

Good story but.....

I like stories that mirror real life instead of creating fake happy endings - the world is not a fairy tale, and in that respect, this book was great. BUT it is way too long and I hated the "heroine" by the time I was mid-way through listening. She was selfish little girl in the beginning and never grew. Each time her actions were described as "cute" by one of the male leads, I wanted to scream. This book could have 3 hours edited from it and not lose one single important moment.

What a story...can't wait to see what happens next

Such a Fabulous book that I couldn’t stop listening! Great characters and storylines. A must read!

My Two Pennies

The narration was wonderful l, I always love a duo when it comes to the multiple POV’s in stories, they’re passion is clearly heard and not a single monotone moment. Makes you want to continue to listening. Looking at the reviews before one clicking I was on the fence because there’s such a mix for brown ends, I took the chance and it so happy I did. This is a sweet YA romance with a bit of a love triangle blended throughout. Laney has been friends with Evan since they were small and were inseparable, as they go off to college the distance changes things a bit and Laney meets Dane & his friends while out with her roommate on a dorm crawl type event. There’s no second guessing for me I’m all the way #TeamDane this man is the sweetest most caring man and the nickname he gives her is spot on. I felt the storyline moved at a great pace and held my interest throughout. We’re even given a twist towards the end that I never EVER saw coming. I will without a doubt be heading into book 2 to see what the future holds.

sweet innocent yet captivating story

The story was so cute. You see the characters grow up and shed their shell of innocence. You definitely felt the buildup to see what was going on what was going to happen, and the last and the last couple of sentences was a true shock.

Overall really good

My only 2 complaints are that the man’s voice for Dane was a bit too mature. Dane is 21, narrator sounded 40ish which made it a little creepy sometimes.
Other weird thing is that Evan constantly calls Laney pet names that a dad would call his daughter like “sweet pea”, “baby girl”, “precious girl” & “munchkin”. College boys don’t talk like that and those are not cute names for a boy to call his girlfriends!
Other than that this was a great story that easily kept my attention!

Wow! thus book was a shocker. I honestly was pulling for Evan and felt sick on the last chapter. Laney did him wrong by not being COMPLETELY honest.

College kids

Wish I had read the reviews and seen where this was for young readers, Story was immature and I wanted to throw something when I got to the end. As a mature reader, I just can't read the rest of the series.
