The Reading is phenomenal. The execution of the chapters not so phenomenal.

I love the sound and minimalist inflection in Jackie’s voice it is soothing and feels wise to listen to.. I did have to slow it up just a bit because it at times sounds rushed.. which I cannot explain. Also most other books allow for you to see the chapters and choose to start a reading from there. I would have enjoyed it that much more if the 66 books were laid out and then the reader can skip forward or back maybe to find the chapter & verse. I realize listing all of the books with chapters and verses would be a huge undertaking and I wasn’t expecting that. The chapters though would have been cool. Obviously the Bible is. 10/10 for me & I was waiting for this audiobook to become available for sometime so I’m pretty happy. Thank you for making it available.

Jackie's voice is so peaceful

I enjoy hearing Jackie teach. I've tried many bible audiobooks, but Jackie's voice and the cadence make this an easy listen. the only thing I wish was the was an easier way to locate specific books or chapters while listening.

Excellent narrator

Jackie is an excellent narrator for the Bible. At random times she does some voice changes to act our what is going on. PLEASE ADD BOOKS AND CHAPTERS. I have created a reference for myself with track number, book and chapter however it feels like the audiobook has been updated and none of my references match anymore. Please address this.

JHP can do no wrong in my eyes!

Jackie could've just sneezed for 65 hours and I would still buy it. Anyway, I loved that it was her voice reading this. It helped me focus and understand scripture better than reading it on my own or trying to hear pass accents I'm personally unfamiliar with. THE ONLY PROBLEM is the chapters are labeled with numbers and not the books of the bible. So if you want specific verses, you gone need to map it out in a note book like I did. Jackie, Preston, if yall see this restock the "Victory Is Mine" BLUE CAPS ON THE BOLD APPAREL SITE!

Presentation

I'm 15hrs into it, but feels a bit discouraged / disappointed. I thought that she would shuffle between old & new Testament. It's already so difficult to grasp, and to listen to it consistently is a bit putting off for me. The concentration is low 🥺

I love JHP's voice. I think she did a wonderful job reading the ESV bible. Her voice is clear and even toned without sounding monotonous or robotic. it's calming. She is very easy to listen to. The reason I gave 3 stars is related to Crossway's area of responsibility... the "chapters " are not listed/identified by the scripture being read. They are only listed as chapters 1- 1300. Because of this, there is no way for you to go to the list of chapters and select a specific passage without clicking/listening through all of it and marking each book of the Bible and its chapters yourself. It's the same way on Spotify which is why I decided to buy it here. It would be helpful to include with the title a chart listing which chapters go with each book of the Bible.

This was a great narration

I love that narration by Jackie Hill Perry I only wish it could be added to the Bible app. My only complaint is that the chapters are not numbered by book so it’s hard to hope around to read.

Overall a good way to digest the story of the Bible.

I think she’s reading too fast. I had to adjust the speed because she was zipping through it, but that makes her voice a little off. I wish the table of contents was labeled so I could follow along while reading. It could also help with picking back up to know where you are in the Bible. Overall I think her voice is melodic and easy to listen to. This is one of the best recorded bibles I’ve found.
