So glad I didn't believe the negative reviews. This is definitely not a dusty, confusing theology book. She does a fantastic job of connecting the dots between the Old and New Testaments, giving us a deeper understanding of our faith. And she's funny. Highly recommend.

The necessity of divine grace

The quote from Lisa that stuck with me the most was, “Being honest about my shortcomings is a practical way to amplify the divine grace I will need until I’m in heaven”.

The entire book was well-written and was done so in typical Lisa fashion. Wonderful personal stories with beautiful biblical connections.
