💭 the way i connected with this book!! as a nurse, i completely related to the probs all too commonly xperienced by nurses everywhere. & being set in georgia, it made the scenes more vivid like im seeing it in real time knowing the spots mentioned, the weather, the driving xperience😆 the story itself was interesting!! tho i found 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻 a bit too xtra for no reason most of the time, 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿 can be my attending 𝘼𝙉𝙔👏🏽𝙀𝙁𝙁𝙄𝙉👏🏽𝘿𝘼𝙔👏🏽 but hey... juz like they said: 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚'𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚.

🎧 the narrators were fantastic voicing their characters in this duet narration. 𝘮𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 brought a certain lvl of 🔥 that was very morgan & 𝘫𝘧 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 can do no wrong!! he brought the delicious deep & growly timber perfect for walkie's broody traits!! looking forward to hear more of them♥️

Must-Listen Medical, Accidental Marriage Deliciousness!

Dr. Fellow is the third audiobook in Lexie Woods’ Midtown Memorial series and is an accidental marriage story that takes place in a hospital setting. Although this is the third book in the series, you do not have to have read or listened to the first two books to thoroughly enjoy this story. This was my first book in the series, and I absolutely adored it! Walker, an orthopedic surgeon at the hospital, is recently divorced and still grieving that loss. The last thing he wants is a new relationship after feeling like he failed so completely at his last one. Enter the sassy, snarky, and sexy bane of his existence, Morgan, who is an RN in the emergency room and also not a fan of relationships. She practically makes a career out of putting him in his place. Their banter is seriously next level! Walker wants nothing to do with her on a personal level. Too bad his body is clearly not on the same page as his head, because their physical chemistry is sizzling! Just as they both finally decide to give in to their desire and start a physical relationship, apparently all it takes is one drunken night in Vegas to have them tripping down the aisle to matrimony. And Walker is not about to be divorced for a second time, much to Morgan’s consternation. This couple’s road to an HEA is emotional, passionate, romantic, fiery, and a whole lot of kinky! It is, quite honestly, perfection.

Adding to the overall deliciousness of this story is the duet-style narration from the uber-talented duo of Maxine Mitchell and JF Harding. Maxine Mitchell proves once again exactly why she is the queen, voicing Morgan perfectly by portraying this character’s sassy, independent nature while still revealing the softness and vulnerability beneath her snarky exterior. And JF Harding just never disappoints! His portrayal of the sexy, dirty-talking doctor harboring a broken heart is absolutely everything a romance audio girly could ask for. He and Maxine Mitchell brought Walker and Morgan (and this entire story) to life oh, so beautifully. A wonderfully-written story coupled with outstanding narration equals an absolute must listen! Walkie Talkie! Oh my gosh did I LOVE these two! My favorite part of this entire series is how Lexie seamlessly combines heat, heart and emotion with REAL LIFE medical care experience. This is not just a romance set in a hospital with a doctor and nurse but they truly embody the struggles of healthcare workers and give you a raw view of a day in their lives and admire that so so much. No fluff, no mess, no filter and it makes me love it that much more. This friends with benefits arrangement between grumpy Walker and sassy Morgan was EVERYTHING and you know well enough that Lexi is going to BRING THE HEAT with the spice and winner, winner chicken dinner this was SO HOT. The way that Walker does his RESEARCH before exploring anything new with Morgan!?! We love a knowledgeable and prepared KING. I love the couple of story twists we were given in the last quarter of the book that made their story that much sweeter. JF Harding was the perfect embodiment of Walker on every level and Maxine Mitchell was fantastic as dynamic Morgan, matching her energy expertly. These two are a couple of my all time favorite narrators for good reason. Really enjoyed this one. 4.25/5 stars!

"Friends with Benefits" to "My Wife" - Yes Please!

Book 3 of the series but it stands alone well. You meet the characters previously so reading in sequence gives more context to their growth, but it's not required.

I loved bratty, sassy Morgan pushing Walker out of his comfort zone. The way these two have chemistry but are resisting creates some great sizzling tension. When they spend more time together, the way they both see each other (though understanding the intricacies of their personal baggage takes a while) and understand the difficulties unique to being in a relationship with a health care professional, it made me really happy with how they fit together.

Walker wants to be better the second time around in the marriage game and the way he fights for Morgan to stay his wife, to make everything real. It made me swoon.

The audiobook was performed in Duet style narration by Maxine Mitchell and JF Harding. This was a fantastic pairing. They are both incredibly talented and do an excellent job of making all the various cast of characters distinct and valuable. I was incredibly invested in Morgan and Walker's romance, from "friends with benefits" to "my wife" and everything in between. I'm loving this series and giddy excited for more.

Paging Walker Boo Boo!

Run don’t walk for your latest medical romance obsession!
I have been obsessing over Dr. Walker Chastain since February and he was certainly worth the wait. Walker and Morgan were instantly one of my top favorite book couples ever and won’t be knocked down anytime soon. Their entire dynamic from the constant banter to the spicy bedroom scenes(and they are in fact spicy, and a wee bit k!nky) had me losing sleep and dying for more.

Maxine Mitchell gave one of my most favorite performances I’ve ever listened to from her as Morgan! Maxine was utterly FLAWLESS in this book and I am truly obsessed with everything from the quick wit to the sassy brat moments, down to the heavy emotion that comes with being an ER nurse. To match Maxine’s incredible talent, we have JF Harding as Walker and he was equally as spectacular! I don’t think I’ve heard “little devil” enough times yet
