Tasha Cobbs Leonard’s story is so beautiful and this book is a testimony to God’s greatness. It was an absolute honor to read this book and her story is so inspiring. What I love the most about this book is how her father instilled in her at a young age to sit at the feet of Jesus. This is something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life and is something that I tend to forget in this crazy world. Sitting at the feet of Jesus allows us to be humble and to be grateful for everything He has done and will do. I hope you all enjoy this book as much as I have!

I know you don’t want to take the spotlight from God and Jesus, and may not prefer being the center of attention - but, when I meet you, I’ll hug you because your revelation for your life spoken out loud made me ok. It made me realize that my always doing a lot is ok. My not being what others are is ok. My journey to figure it out is ok.
At 42yo, God is revealing what this journey has all been for. He brought me to the floor in tears when you read the part of your book that said (paraphrased) ‘Some of us are most comfortable doing a lot. Through all of the changes and decision making, it-is-ok.’

I now know Heavenly Father that I no longer need to feel shame because I didn’t meet some human’s standard. Position my parents to be ok with the journey I’ve been on and the blossoming that is forthcoming.
