Started off like a home run!

I bought this book after watching an interview of the author on woman evolve. Who better to spell out the don’ts and red flags of dating than someone with years of experience in handling divorces. I also felt that I could relate to her, as a woman who has chosen to remain single until I find someone genuine, instead of taking up time and space with a situationship.

I liked how this book started off. You should live life on your own terms and never dim your light to impress a man. I like how she shared her dating history and how she didn’t just walk into a fairytale after the second guy.

What I disliked was that near the end of the story, it became cliche. I’m tired of books that claim to have a “recipe” for attracting/manifesting the right guy. Perhaps I’m a cynic, but I’m tired of hearing the same old “write a list” or “put it on your vision board” or “just take a break and that’s when you’ll meet him”.

I can enjoy a book that guides me in the realm of waiting between dating. I can appreciate a book from a woman who waited, dealt with long periods of singleness, and who’s honest about what dating was like before she found her person. However, I’m over the cliche love stories that most of us will never experience.

Lastly, I’d recommend this book to women who are either a) below the age of 24 and/or b) have had very little dating experience. The advice is realistic for the most part and things you’re not likely to hear unless you’ve got a supportive female family member to teach you the real ropes of dating.

Helpful book

There are some helpful tips in this book even for a divorcee. Her experience on divorce court definitely gives her great insight.

A MUST READ OR LISTEN

I normally don't write reviews but for this I will, because it was worth it... this book gave me hope, it inspired me to know my worth as a women and in dating.. Sis do not SETTLE! A great read to start off my 2022 New Year... I am going to listen to it again because it's that good...

Amazing guide for any single woman looking to meet a high value man!

I forget how I even came across this book but I’m so glad I did! I’ve been divorced almost six years and I’m currently single although I have dated off and on. However I seem to never meet the right men and after listening to this audiobook I’ve learned so much and have some great takeaways that will now guide me in meeting the high quality man I am looking for and deserve. I also love the stories that Faith shares, it’s entertaining too! I’m so excited to have this new outlook as well as information to help me meet an amazing man!!!
