i loved it

i love these series. i love that Merritt is a mix of her parents, their story is one of my favorites along with evie's story. and at long last the wallflowers are truly related by marriage. i truly hope there is another book coming.

Kleypas never disappoints

Love every minute of it . She is a master of sentiment and empathy. I actually cried and laughed out loud a few times.

Wonderful!!

Love the whole series! Love seeing the Wallflower’s family grow and merge. Listening to theses stories like visiting with old friends.

My favorite in the series

This was at least my third reread of the story. I just wish there were more stories to come about these two families. Mary Jane does wonderful accents, her Scottish accent is spot on, and so entertaining.

Lovely book, lovely voice 

Ms. Wells voice is perfect to bring the writer’s characters to life, endowing them with such attractive personalities.

I listened to this book the day it was released. I don’t normally write reviews but the over the top negative review below compels me to. If you like Lisa Kleypas books, you will like this one as well. I have read all of Lisa’s historical romances and I’ve enjoyed them all. This one does not differ greatly as the negative review stated. Oh and if you loved The Devil in Winter as I did, you will love all the scenes with Sebastian and Evie. I will also add Mary Jane Wells does an incredible job as always. Lisa and Mary are a wonderful combo. Enjoy

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this series and this addition was wonderful! Watching the characters intertwine with the ones from all the previous books I have enjoyed just makes it feel like being amongst family. 

Mary Jane Wells is fantastic at her narrations and seeing her name on this project made it even easier to pre-order this book. 

Merritt and Keir are a perfect match and right away you feel the chemistry between them. There is a decent plot which, even though it was guessable, didn't detract from the enjoyment one bit! I would highly recommend this book and honestly the entire series starting with the original Wallflowers if you're up for the challenge!  

I sincerely hope there are more to come for this series.
