Nine to five? Not for me. I’d rather make this magical house a home.

My career as a realtor bored me, except for when I got to test my handyman skills. So, when I finally saved enough, I purchased the most rundown manor I could find to scratch the itch.

And who are these new roommates? A sweet garden nymph, a mischievous dullahan, and a mysterious goth demon. Turns out, the house isn’t the only thing in need of a helping hand.

But no quest is without its prize. I never imagined that buying a rundown mansion would grant me powers! The more I repair, the more the house rewards me. It started as strength and endurance, but the closer I get to the girls, the more magical I become.

And my efforts to fix the house haven’t gone unnoticed. When the HOA shows up, I think they’re about to congratulate me on all my hard work.

Instead, they gave me a to-do list a mile long.

And we’re not the only paranormals in this so-called normal suburb.

Repairing the mansion is the challenge I craved, but a string of vandalisms keeps us on edge. Someone, or something, doesn’t want us living here.

It turns out Sunnyside won’t be as peaceful as I expected.

A fun easy listen story.

I was worried that this story would get slowed down by home repair talk before I started it but its very fun and well paced. If you ever have fought with home repairs like I have you will find those parts funny. Its not all about home repair battles so don't let that discourage you. The MC does kind of accept the paranormal pretty easy but it doesn't take anything from this story. The narrators do great work.

Fun for anyone who likes fixing things.

I liked the story and characters who were tastefully described. The sex didn't get in the way.

It’s not one of my favorite Kirk Mason book but it was still pretty good!

Entertaining and cute story.

The performance is amazing, and the overall experience was great.

The story is a little clunky but that’s forgivable since the overall product is enjoyable, and is a good bit of escapism.

The mc does take a hint well but the story funny and loving in a way kinda a slice of life i mean who wouldent want a big house with 3 girls

Slife of life fun

this is the kind of book you just sit back and enjoy enough fun to keep it interesting but calm enough to be a relaxing listen. and let's face it who hasn't wanted to decimate their HOA.

Enjoyable start hope we get more

The story was a nice change of pace. There were stakes but they were not world ending. The narrators were great.

Real fun take on a haunted house

This was really fun take on a haunted house with the twist of monster girls thrown into the mix. Woodbridge and assume did a great job narrating

no music

the story's were haunting but there was little break between them. would have been better to have some haunted music between while you digested the entirety of each story before starting the next

Slice of life relaxation

Quite the enjoyable slice of life, plus adding the MC as a DIYer and I'm super happy. The premise was new to me, the monster girls were not the typical go to monster/fantasy ladies. The narrator's did a great job and it was a first for me to listen to either of them, hope they continue with more great books in the genre.
