Excellent Book & Resource

I am a top 1% financial advisor who does not need to grow my practice but am still in the game of always getting better. As such, I have consumed countless books from our industry. Wow!

Such a great book. Full of actionable items. Can’t wait to listen again. No gimmicks, no sales pitches, just simple advice that encourages you to do the hard work.

Great for those who are more organizationally minded, but also for those who want to streamline their practice.

Will most certainly be putting a ton of this advice to good use.

Excellent book!

Loved it! Mr. Jarvis reading it himself really adds a lot to the material as well. I hope to meet the author someday, he has helped me a great deal. This is a must read for any financial advisor.

Practical steps to succeed as an advisor

I have given this book out or recommended it to other advisors more times than I can count. Matthew does a great job of giving advisors new and old alike a repeatable template to build a financial planning firm centered around adding value and improving the wellbeing of clients while also providing a meaningful and purpose filled career.

To all the FAs who think that they could “just make it if (insert some external force that they have no control over ) changed” I challenge you to put down the excuses, pick up the book, and get to work on implementing changes in your business today.

Side note - forgive me if I have overlooked this in a couple of readings, but it would be nice to see a very dumbed down client onboarding appointment process in future editions!

Absolutely loved it. I bought the audiobook so that I could re-listen to the book immediately after finishing the print edition. Great stuff Matthew. I was tempted to rate it 1 star so that all the other advisors out there don't get wise to your amazing systems. Thanks for sharing!
