Great book to understand how different each person is and how perceptive plays a big part in how we think about money.

Just how applicable this is too so many different areas of life.

I loved it so much. I am going to listen to it again. There are some very, very powerful messages that can be turned into one big action plan. In fact, where is the workbook? The class? The community? Thank you.

Oh and thank you also for teaching me how to pronounce Ramit Sethi.

For the “must be nice” people

This book was amazing! It was a great reminder that money is a tool, not a miracle. I’ve listened to many finance books and this one just hit different, as the kids say. Easy to listen to, easier to comprehend. It’s a great follow up to the psychology of money, although this one jumps to the front of the line. No politics either way. Just good old fashioned direct accountability. Another stellar book by Morgan Housel.

Guidance and wisdom

Housel delivers great insights without preaching. He gives the reader/listener tools for evaluating their own lives in relation to money. I came away with a better understanding of myself as a person. Few books on finance resonate in such a profound way. Thank you.

Should have been titled.. Why money doesn't make you happy

Another book written by a guy that doesn't have a lot of money (5 million is not a lot of money) rationalizing how not being rich is better than being very wealthy. All this is just some guys opinion that being wealthy doesn't make you happy. He brings up an example of his grandmother in law who barely gets by on her social security check happier than some billionaires he knows. I guarantee you there is nothing more miserable than being old with only a small amount of government assistance. I rest my case.
I have a net worth of around 100 million and it is amazing. I don't think it's about being happy. It's about the pride I have in myself that I carry everyday that comes from growing up very poor and creating something huge out of nothing. Also the freedom it gives that allows so much control over my life and allows me to experience so many amazing things.
