Musical background was unneeded and e aHaimish obnoxious.

Musical background was absurd at best, obnoxious at worst. What were they thinking.

Otherwise, typical enjoyable Haimish mystery.

Music in Background

Would like to see a character change with Hamish. Getting tired of portraying him as continuing to make the same mistakes. I absolutely do not like the music in the background.

Background sound effects on this version distract

loved the story but the background music and sound effects I'm not too sure about.

The music is awful

The story was great as usual, the music in the background did not impress. Out of context weird music did not enhance the reading.

Please make it stop

The music was distracting and inappropriate. Who decided that this was a good idea? I almost stopped reading in the first chapter and returned the book. Ugh!

I liked it but Agatha raisin is my favorite she has more coziness to her

So, so. The whole thing about Hamish waffling around about getting married is very old. Otherwise, it was an interesting plot.

The music was distracting. There did not seem to be any relationship between the music and the action of the story. I would rather not have it.

Music drove me crazy

I love the story, and the narration. Unfortunately I do not like having the background music. I found it annoying and distracting. I would not purchase another one of these books that include the background music.

Background music too loud

I’ve been listening to this series in order and found the background music in this one to be too loud and at times was a distraction from the story. Not sure why they felt it was needed.
