Excellent
I can only smile throughout an M.C. Beaton story. She has a. way of holding up the ridiculous faults in society for examination in an entertaining manner then, turning attitudes on then ear for the best.

Good story!
I enjoyed this book very much except the ending leaves you hanging. I think it’s not right for Audible to make the other books in the series cost you a credit. They are short books and I do not want to use my credit for a short story.

This story centers around a family fled with unlikable characters which makes the reader unconcerned with what happens to them. Even the secondary characters are wholly unpleasant.

I like to listen to this book while doing chores or cooking .
In this book we get to see the start of the mannerling madness. how the love for material things may blind you to the thing around you . But like in most of this book you will get a HEA.

enjoyable
