Great story

This story had me hooked. The performance at times sounded a little bit whiney, but I was into the story enough that I was able to get past it. Really enjoyed the different backstories and characters and how they all weaved together.

Amazing

I loved everything about this book. It is not my normal genre but it is one I will be reading again and sharing with friends. I hope u enjoy it as much as I did.

Really good all the way to the end!

I really enjoyed this tale! Sweet and sad; my emotions ran the gamut. Really liked the folk lore/supernatural aspects that were well woven into every day reality, making the whole story plausible. I’ll be looking for more by this author. Thanks for a nice escape.

If you like gothic love stories

I have read Webb’s other books and I am delighted by how quickly they draw you into the story. How she doesn’t let anything slip. The setting, the plot, and the characters are all well-balanced. She is a fun author and I enjoy her books a lot.

I LOVED this book, I couldn't stop listening! great narration, character development, twists and turns! Kept me on the edge of my seat! Great book!

Loved the Book

The story was wonderful. I was transported each night (when I do my reading) to the land beside the waters. It left me wanting for more and dismayed that the story was ending. That being said....the narration was, IMHO, superb. One of the best narrators that I have heard thus far. I will probably listen to this one again in a couple of years and will look for more books by this author.

AMAZING STORY!!

This story was full of twists and turns and left you needing to know and understand what Was happening and why. The address played so many roles and you would forget that it was just her voice she did an amazing job. You begin to connect with the characters and paint an image in your mind of the entire story happening. Very well written.

I really enjoyed this book in every way. Tragedy, mystery, love, somehow all combined to make a beautiful and comforting story.
