If you're looking for a fresh, relevant, unpredictable psychological thriller, you'll like this book because the summary doesn't do justice for the depth of the characters and plot development. The author doesn't use cheap surprises and curve balls for shock value, rather she allows details to unravel on their own to speak for itself. I was wrong almost every time I assumed something and was left impressed with the author's ability to not include unconnected elements. I read a few negative reviews and I think they're due to not just accepting certain realities and not understanding how traumatized people can be left from the past - without this, I can see how one may think some content and detail the author provides to the story line are far-fetched. This book definitely held my interest throughout and I highly recommend it.

A WOW ending.

This one keeps you hanging in there on the day to day happenings of, mvwhat on the surface, seems to be a normal, albiet disfuntional, family, and the watchful eyes of "the other mommy". Something feels 'not quite right, but you just can't put your finger on it. Then, you are shoved onto a freight train of events that lead to a train wreck of an ending.. Holy s**t.... I didn't see that coming!

Great twist ending

The twist ending saved the book. Glad I stuck with it until the end. I will look for another book by this author.

Everything about this story is just on the edge of a little off. It’s just out of reach but I loved every minute and every word of this incredible story. The ending is fantastic!!! Dual narration is brilliant!!!

Wow!

This story had be from the beginning. The performers were great and throughout the story, I did not know quite who to cheer for between the women. What an explosive end to a wonderful novel. You will not be disappointed reading this one. All I can say is, “Wow”.

Such a good listen!

This was a fun one and the narration was one of the best I’ve heard. I️ didn’t know what to expect at first but I️ am glad I️ decided to go for it and purchase. If you are interested in a fun-people are not always what they seem to be - type of book, this ones for you. The ending was a complete surprise as well:)

just as the story was getting interesting, it ended. it had allot of dry spots.
