Steamiest Crowne Brother 🔥🔥🔥

CD Reiss knocked it out of the park with this one! The narration was fantastic, and oh Christian Fox...that voice and his kaydence 🤤🤤🤤. I thought Logan’s book was hot- well Dante’s is just on a whole different level! Suuupppper HOT 🔥🔥🔥 I absolutely LOVED it!!!

Every time I read a book by CD Reiss I am amazed by her talent to tell a story, to draw us in, to envelop us in her talent to the point nothing else matters but reading the words on the pages she fills. This book is no exception. I was transported into the world of Dante and Mandy and held there until the last page. Separately their lives are in turmoil. They find peace in each other but don’t trust it. Can they find their happily ever after? Check it out and let Ms. Reiss take you away with her exquisite words. I also enjoyed listening to the audible book through whisper-sync as I read along. I love Emma Wilder in everything I’ve heard her narrate. Christian Fox is new to me but his voice is smooth and easy to listen to. I’ll definitely be searching for more of his narrations in the future. I am a fan of CD Reiss and highly recommend her work to anyone who is interested in finding a talented author.

When Mandy Bettencourt finds herself embroiled in a media frenzy after her long affair with the husband of a beloved actress is made public, she desperately needs a place to hide. She's being vilified as the "home wrecker" but, as usual, the media doesn't know all the sides of the story. Her good friend offers the use of their family's vacation cabin in Cambria. It's secluded, basically off-the-grid and she can hide out there until things cool down in LA. What she wasn't expecting was that her friend's brother would be using the cabin too.
Dante Crowne wanted to spend time in reclusion at their house to sort out some problems that have been haunting him since his teenage years. The last thing he needed was to find "Amanda" there. She's always fascinated him but he can't afford the distraction... unless she pays a price if she really wants to stay: total obedience.
This book was OK for me until I got to the epilogue and then I completely fell in love with Dante and Mandy. Both of them get to the Cambria house with serious issues to deal with and I wanted more backstory for both of them (not getting into more because spoilers).
There's a heavy emphasis own their sexual chemistry and if you don't like a little degradation kink added to the spice. you'll cringe a little at some points like I did (NO kink shaming - to each their own and Mandy LOVED IT, y'all!). Just letting you know.
Like I said, the epilogue sealed the deal for me.... and the narration.
Narration: Sweet Baby Jay Zoos, I wish him all the best in his endeavors but an angel lost their wings the day Christian Fox decided to retire from narration. Sad sad day - the man is narration god. Mandy is narrated by the lovely Emma Wilder, who's perfect as always.

Breathe

It’s a great story to follow the Crown brothers and their love stories. I love how Mandy conquers fears and falls into love.
I didn’t enjoy the reader. She was very breath-y. You could tell she was trying to sound sexy but some of the time she spoke as almost a whisper.

Couldn't wait to read about Dante. I really enjoyed this story. I was happy that they both got their happy ending.

My only issue was the female narrator. Wasnt terribly keen on her voice as a sub, but Christian Fox ... now there's a voice that I'd get on my knees for ... wait ... did I just say that? 🤭

Overall, great story. Cant wait to hear the other siblings' stories.

Good 3rd book.

While this story isn’t really my personal preference it was done well. I’m just not a fan of the “name-calling” thing from the alpha to the sub that is serving him. Having stated that, the narrators were great and did a good job giving life to the story…. Maybe too good. 😉

Drawn out and brutal, indeed

All of the mental gymnastics in the world can’t keep the mood from dying when a guy says “slut” and “whore” during a sexual encounter.
I am new to this genre of books and this isn’t my type of irl kink so I wasn’t sure if that was typical.
I was just coming off of another of her collections and after 30+ hours of novels and short stories I didn’t feel like there was that much…well it’s just a mess.
The only good thing I’ve gotten from this is the narrators are great. The book is definitely underwhelming but it’s that crude punch that comes with the verbal exchanges that made me regret this purchase.
I don’t know if I want to know about the other brothers at this point.

Fabulous

This book was pure perfection! Everyone needs a Dante Crowne. I loved how he and Mandy both found themselves as they were finding each other. Bravo on a wonderful book and trilogy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Crowne Rules by CD REISS

What a great read. I loved it, but t then I loved all of Ms. Reiss’s books. Such young love that took years to form and when it did I was only wishing it were me who found the prefect man. The narrators Emma Wilder and Christian Fox were perfect. I’ve listened to many of their narrations and this one was superb together, plus most of my library is with Christian Fox’s narration. That voice....sigh.🥃

The need for control and dominance

Typical of CD Reiss, this was a fantastic listen between two damaged people trying to figure themselves out and love how Dante simply dominates Mandy…love the scene in the crawl space especially their time away in Cambria…
