love

narration was a bit wonky. The narrator reading red just sounded funny and vise versa for the female reading shark. the book is however great. i am new to audio books and fell in love with the convince of them.

WHAT A WAY TO START THE SERIES!

I love "whodunnit" stories and when it is laced with a romance between an alpha male and a female entrepreneur who enchanted him enough to change how he looks at "relationships" such as in this book, it gets my vote and attention. I can't wait to read the rest of the series to find out who is trying to destroy the hero (Sebastian Shark) and what will he and Abigail Gibson (the heroine) do to weather the roadblocks that are set before them and live happily ever after or will they?
I already have a list of suspects, but I am keeping quiet until the authors reveal the culprit or culprits.

Angel Payne and Victoria Blue wrote a steamy, suspenseful, and thoroughly enjoyable book.

Jacob Morgan and Erin Mallon, two of my favorite narrators, were extremely fabulous in breathing life in the characters. I wish I could give this book more than 5 Stars all around: Performance, Story and Overall!

Jump in, the water's great!!

The first book in the new Shark's Edge series by Victoria Blue and Angel Payne has a little something for everyone. Alpha-billionaire hero, Sebastian Shark will quicken your pulse with his dominant vibe. Virginal, strong-willed and sometimes hot-tempered Abbigail Gibson makes a fiery heroine, The "whodunnit" plot unfolds from the very start of the story and the characters are well developed. Even though there is a cliffhanger ending, the next book in the series is already available, so there is no actual wait time. The sex scenes are off the charts hot— like we've come to expect from this dynamic writing team. The dialogue is quick and witty and keeps the story moving along at a nice pace. The narrators are top-notch and bring entertaining life to the characters. Jacob and Erin never disappoint, and this story is no exception. I can't wait to get going on the next book!

Top listen of 2019 so far!

Sharks Edge is phenomenal. A mixture of suspense, passion, mystery, and of course romance. From page one till the very end, I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t help but fall in love with these characters and I’m so deeply invested in these characters' lives, and the world the authors have created. Completely addicted

Jacob Morgan nailed Sebastian. I have nothing else to say other than it was perfect! But I never doubted he wouldn’t be!

Erin Mallon is the exact same way and these two as a dual narration. You cannot go wrong!
Add in the first book to what promises to be an amazing series and you get this masterpiece!

A great start to a classic Contemporary Romance

This is just book 1 in a new 15 book series. While I struggled to find empathy for the characters in the beginning and a few things confused me, it was definitely worth hanging in there. After about chapter 8, the pace and story evened out more and I could just sit back for the ride. As this is the first book, a lot of seeds were planted for future plot points, other characters were introduced and overall world building was happening. This is a 3 book ARC for the hero and heroine, so don't expect a HEA and it is not a stand alone. Go into the book knowing that to finish this ride you'll be here for awhile and whether you love the beginning or hate it, it's not over and you'll need to hang in there to get the full experience. Luckily these author crank the books out fast, so you won't be waiting long.
Overall, it's worth the read if you like epic Contempory Romance stories with multiple books and large pools of unique charactera like Steel Brothers, Secrets Of Stone, Crossfire and the like.

Loved this!!! Loved the story, characters, and the narrators were perfection! Hot! So hot office romance! My one beef, I need book two!! 😭

wild ride

This book grabs you and forces you to hold on and what's with the ending.. talk about leaving you with suspense.
Can't wait to start the next one.

Great start

This book is a great start to a new series. The characters are interesting on their own and explosive when together. I like how there’s a little bit more mystery than just a typical romance and I’m interested to see how it’s going to play out throughout the series.
Both of these narrators are among my list of favorites so it was no surprise that they both did an incredible job.

Wasn’t aware this book had 3 parts but I’ve never been so excited for a 3 part book! I can’t wait to know know how this story ends!

great first

I got this for all things Jacob Morgan but whoaa nelly...this story packs a punch. At first I was big mad thinking the series wasnt complete. I loathe cliffhangers but this couple is done in the 3 books that are out....so now I need to go devour the rest because Ive been worried about them in the few days since I finished this one. I was concerned the push and pull with the age gap was going to bother me....and it did a few times but not too badly. Mid way through I did get a bothered but I really cant tell you why. The angst just got to me.
Anyways..this is worth the credits for the pure sex appeal of Jacobs voice...he totally makes Sebastian THAT man.
