I really loved this

Listening to a book pre-1066 is pretty cool. Just interesting history. I loved the characters and how they fit into the few facts we do know about that period. I thought the narrator was great. I have all the books in this series & just wish there were more.

On to the sequal!

I love it when a book ends too soon. The story moved along, and the characters were believable.

Anglo-Saxon, Norman or Dane they all wanted England.

impressive presentation of the history mixed beautifully with fictional additions that that make the story fun to read and / or listen to. Bring on book 2.
