I do like the Legion in the Roman Empire and this book give me a nice view in the life of a soldier

Engaging story telling

Story super fun and engaging, plus voice actor is Spot on. Devoured the book in 4 days.

Excellent New Series

What İ appreciate the most is that the main characters in Hosker's book are people that you can respect. Lucius is no exceptin; brave, resourceful and kind.
The book is fast paced, without redundant word salads.
My only complaint is that it was too short. Hosker is juggling quite a few separate sesries' and İ know İ'll have to patiently wait for the sequel.
İt's more than worth the credit and İ hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did

No historical detail or accuracy

Very disappointing. The author is usually much more prepared and gives more historical detail. Not this time though. This book was clearly crapped out over a weekend.
