Wow! This a is a great stress reliever and a concentration booster.

I spend hours at my computer a day and this audio makes me smarter and more focused. Highly recommended!

No track identification/separation. USELESS as is!

Where does Brainwave Music System rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would have a better answer for this if the 'audiobook' were formatted correctly. This is more in the genre of music than a book. You have no idea what track serves a particular purpose. I could think I'm stimulating my brain, and end up falling asleep at the wheel! This is a serious flaw. I'm sure it was not intended to be used this way!

Would you be willing to try another book from Jeffrey Thompson? Why or why not?

I think I've made myself clear. Audible should either have the publisher fix this and redistribute, or refund all purchasers.

Essential!

Brain Suite is relaxing, rejuvenating, and revitalizing. I have used this sound therapy for years; it's one of Dr. Thompson's best compilations.

Don't Purchase Until It's Fixed!

Jeffrey Thompson's work is excellent...Like other reviewers, I would like to warn potential buyers that this version is not formatted correctly. The CDs are strung together continuously, with no proper separation and no track labeling--meaning you don't know if you are being put into a state of deep relaxation or mindful wakefulness! A serious error with this set! Hope Audible corrects this soon so others don't make the mistake I made in purchasing this improperly formatted version.

got this to help me with a bit of insomnia, and it worked great......till the music changed drastically and woke me up!!

What would have made Brainwave Music System better?

I was looking for meditation assistance. The music could have been a bit more relaxing. As a musician the excessive noise was a distraction. For anyone starting out in meditation this may not be a problem. For others this doesn't hold the quality that is available on the market.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Maybe I'll look for something with rain.

No Devisions, poor format

I agree with the other review. It would be good if it had divisions beteen the sections. It makes no sense because they are all together.

Audible killed this program

I am a great fan of Jeffrey Thompson's work. I have been using his CD;s for years. This implementation is useless for two reasons:
As another reviewer noted, there is no easy way to tell which program you are currently in. Since you are attempting to directly manipulate your brainwaves, this matters.
Secondly, since it seems to be a mono track, it won't work anyway. According to his website, you need to use stereo headphones to get brainwave entrainment Whish I could get my money back too. Gonna have to buy it again from a someone who understands what they are selling

Disappointed

I've only just begun to listen and I am disappointed. First of all, there are no type of instructions or explanation, or introduction. Next, the entire cd is over six hours long and there is no division between sound categories. So, for instance, you don't know where "relax" ends and "mediation" begins. Maybe if this cd were formatted differently, I'd be able to appreciate it. I wish I could return it and get my credit back.
