Mark is Home!

This book was 1000% worth staying up till 1am for - no regrets. 10/10 recommend. Sierra Simone gave us an epic conclusion to the Lyonesse series. Getting into Mark’s was everyrhinf I hoped it would be.

You will go through the all the emotions and the hangover is real!

A Great Ending to a Great Reimagined Retelling

I honestly don’t have much to say beyond how beautifully Sierra ties this story together: from plot, to characters (with an s) development, to the lyricism and mysticism that run through every page.

Do not read the Author’s Note before finishing the book, BUT definitely stop there afterward to appreciate the sheer research, planning, and thought poured into this series. It’s rare, it’s intentional, it’s brilliant.

And of course, shoutout to the King of Angst and Yearning himself, Mark brought to aching, magnetic life by Jacob Morgan.👑

FANTASTIC and BRILLIANT

Jacob Morgan as Mark is a dream in the audiobook. The emotion he brings to the character is truly unmatched. I'm usually a victim of my own ADHD and can't finish listening to a book if I also have the book (so I go read it fast and leave the audiobook unfinished) but in this case .. I considered it an insult to read it when I could be listening to Jacob Morgan. The story itself is already amazing and no one can write about kinky sex as eloquently as Sierra Simone. Calling this book smut is like calling Venus de Milo porn. Strongly recommend listening to afterword and the interview at the end.

By far one of the best series I have listened to! The erotica is so spectacularly written. While I normally lean on the darker sides of smut, this was absolutely a book I would not only recommend to everyone but one I would listen to again!!! As a practitioner of BDSM and D/s in my everyday life, I have a huge appreciation for the accuracy in kink as well as the sensational way Mark cared so much for his pets. Safewords, check ins, aftercare, alllllllll the amazingness!!!!!

Enjoyed this conclusion to the trilogy. I was very curious to see what Simone was going to do with these characters especially, as it can be so annoying and dull. But the twist and turns kept on coming, in unexpected ways and I really enjoyed the way things unfolded. If you like dark, complex characters and lots of hot poly kinky love— Go for this one. Not for people who are vanilla or have hangups about sex.
