Love this series!

I have been patiently waiting for Theo's book and I LOVED it! I knew Theo had a past but phew I was not prepared for how gut wrenching it was. Piper's past also pulled on my heart. I really love these two together. Theo is swoony and I love how protective he was of Piper and her son Finn. Nelly was such a fun supporting character and I loved how she brought some light heartedness to the story. The found family in this series has been my favorite thing and I love how they all immediately brought Piper and Finn in.  The suspense in this whole series is so good but this one had my jaw on the floor! I am counting down the days until Cash's story!! 😍💙

Beyond The Blue Horizon is book 4 in the Moonlit Ridge series, it can read fine as a standalone but I would recommend reading them in order to grasp the entire dynamics. Once more Amy did not disappoint, she grabbed me by the heart with this one. It was so good. From the start I was absolutely hooked and consumed with the storyline and the characters. This one definitely goes in depth, there's a lot to uncover, it's emotional but beautiful. I don't expect any less from Amy, she always takes me on amazing rides. I'm obsessed with her writing, her storytelling and how she crafts her stories.

Piper is one of the fiercest FMC's. I absolutely adored her with all my heart. She does everything she can to keep her son Finn safe. She doesn't let herself be walked on and wants to remain independent. Theo… he definitely did not disappoint 🥵 He knew he wanted her and Finn, he did everything for them. They were definitely soulmates and meant to be. The plot in this one was so solid, the way Amy intertwined their pasts and made everything connect was heartbreaking but so damn good. The found family, the brotherhood is absolutely everything in this series. I loved seeing the previous characters and how they welcomed Piper & Finn with open arms.

Overall, this was another fantastic installment to this series. I am sad that it will be over soon. The storyline, the characters, the twists everything was just perfect!

🎧 The narration by Kit Swan & Teddy Hamilton was so good! I won't lie I wasn't sure about the female narrator at first, but she grew on me and I ended up really enjoying how she played Piper. As for Teddy, well I mean is there any role he plays that isn't just out of this world. Well I can say it was once again such a delight to listen to him. The way he brings the roughness, sweetness and sexiness to his voice is always so perfect. It was a great audio performance, I couldn't stop listening.

BEYOND OBSESSED!! This is a MUST LISTEN to Seres!

A.L. Jackson seriously can do NO WRONG!!! Theo and Piper stole my heart! I swear I can't choose who I love more out of the Moonlit Ridge Series! EVERY ONE of these men are AMAZING! I would have listened to this audiobook in one day if I could have but I did listen to 8 hours of it in one day! I didn't want to stop! The thing I LOVE but A.L. Jackson is you fall in love with her writing from the first page. Her books pull you in and won't let you go.

The narrator’s of course were chef's kiss!! Teddy Hamilton and Kitt Swann made you feel these characters emotions. They will keep you entertained and hold you attention through the entire book. I loved their portrayal of these characters so much and didn't want to stop listening to them.



Theo OH THEO!! Another one that never thought he'd fall in love because of his past. But one look at Piper he was a goner!! Piper is found stranded on the side of the road with Finn and Grandma Nelly. He takes them back to Sanctuary Motel until they can get her car fixed. Of course things don't go as planned. Theo is book boyfriend material and this man had me SWOONING HARD!! I love this tattooed, morally gray man because he is nothing but a big ole softy!

Piper is such a sweet character. She has been through a lot in her past and has been trying to keep her son and grandma safe. She doesn't trust easily but when you come to Moonlit Ridge you know you're going to find your people and they will do anything to help and protect you. She slowly lets her shield down and welcomes all the girls and forms such an amazing friendship with them. Piper Poo is their new member and they just fell in love with her instantly. Theo and Piper will have you smiling so much through this book with this love story.

Finn is the sweetest little boy and I absolutely loved and scene we got with him. Theo will also fall hard for this little boy and will be taking in by the whole sanctum family as well.

OH Grandma Nelly!!! She was the BEST!! The stuff that comes out of her mouth will have you laughing so hard!!! I resonated with her because she's so much like my Grandma.

This book will have you smiling like crazy, swooning hard, laughing out loud, getting emotional, feel the pain of these characters pasts but then will leave you with such a wonderful ending!!

Another Wonderful Visit to Moonlit Ridge

I enjoyed this latest installment from the Moonlit Ridge series. I really love this group of found family and the connections they continue to make. This book was a dual narration by Teddy Hamilton and Kit Swann. Overall, I enjoyed their performances. I loved the way they narrated the children in the story. They make the kids sound so sweet and adorable. Teddy Hamilton is always a favorite for me. And I love Kit Swann's work as well, I just felt that while I loved the way she was able to sound so intense and stressed (which is amazing to me), I just wished it wasn't throughout most of the book. I felt that there were times that the story didn't warrant that intenseness.

Piper is running from someone from her past, and she has her son and grandmother in tow. They are wanting to start a fresh life, but she isn't sure how long until her past comes back to haunt her. She made some poor decisions when she was just looking for fun, and now she isn't sure how to get out of the mess. She wasn't expecting to crash her car in Moonlit Ridge. She also wasn't expecting to be saved by Theo.

Theo is immediately drawn to Piper. He believes he isn't capable of loving anyone, so he just steers clear of anything resembling a relationship. But he knows there is something about Piper that he knows he can help her with...it's what he and his band of brothers do after all. But he has to be focused on the current woman and child they are saving. Theo is pulled closer and closer to Piper, Finn and Nelly (the grandmother). He just knows he has to help them in any way possible.

This story is told mostly in present time, although we do get chapters from each of their pasts that helps explain why they both feel the way they do. I am excited to continue this series.

The narrators were perfection!

Theo, Piper and little Finn were EVERYTHING in this addictive and all-consuming, romantic suspense. I listened to the ALC and the narrators were fantastic in bringing these characters to life.

AL Jackson always pulls me in to her stories with such ease and continues to surprise me with the twists and turns - and this book was no different. I love a story that grabs me from the start and I can’t put it down until the end. Beyond the Blue Horizon did just that.

If you love single parent, morally grey MCs, and a world full of edgy heroes and their found family, then this book and series is for you! Bravo once again, AL Jackson!!

Great audiobook!

ve continued to really enjoy this series and seeing how each character’s story plays out. Here we have Theo who stumbles upon Piper’s broken down car. He’s trying to help her out, but she’s jaded by her past and is reluctant to trust anyone. And who blames her. She’s currently on the run with her child and constantly looking over her shoulder. Even when she wants to leave, she feels drawn to Theo. The last thing she ever expects is to make friends and for this to start to feel like home.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved watching Piper let down her walls and Theo realize he’s deserving of love too. He’s spent all this time being the protector, but slowly realizes that he too can be happy. And hello Piper’s kid is the cutest thing ever! And seeing Piper become friends with everyone and start to put down roots was so great.

The narrators did a phenomenal job! I couldn’t believe how quickly I flew through this one. I loved hearing the pure excitement in the kids voices as they became friends. Definitely recommend listening to this one!

I always enjoy going back to Moonlit Ridge! Beyond the Blue Horizon is the fourth book in the series.
I think Theo and Piper story is one of my favorites on the series.
Theo thinking he is not capable of love due to things in his past.
Piper on the run from her past.
All Theo wants to do is help Piper her son and her Grandmother, but last time Piper stopped running it didn’t go well. Can Piper trust Theo to keep her safe? She is making friends but has a feeling she shouldn’t settle down and keep running.
Theo can’t stay away from Piper even though he thinks he should. What will it take for Theo to let go of his past and plan for his future.
I love that these 2 characters growth with each other and both of them Learning to trust and understand each other!
I am looking toward to Cash’s story!

Every time I open an A.L. Jackson book, I know I’m about to feel everything, but somehow she still manages to surprise me. Beyond the Blue Horizon isn’t just another installment in the Moonlit Ridge series; it’s the one that stole my breath and my heart completely.

Theo and Piper’s story is the kind of romantic suspense I crave: achingly emotional, dangerous, and tender in all the right places. Theo is the tortured protector who believes love isn’t meant for him, and Piper is the fierce, resilient single mom who’s spent too long running from her past. When fate strands her—along with her son Finn and her firecracker grandmother, Nelly—in Theo’s path, you can feel the shift. The storm outside is nothing compared to the one building between them.

What I loved most is how Jackson layers the intensity with heart. Piper and Theo’s story is soooo goood!!!

Piper has had it rough.. You will have to wait a while to get the whole story but try not to spoil it for yourself.
Hang in there. It's worth the revelations.
She is on the run; we know that from the first chapter already. Her Nelly and Son with her.

Count yourself lucky it's Theo who finds them in the snow storm !  .. (I mean who in their right minds wouldn't want Theo to find and save them ?? )

But  it's not all easy love for these two. Both carry major trauma and secrets.

I was looking forward to Theo’s story and it is a great BOOK.

Teddy has just the right amount of grit to make a GREAT Theo.
Loved it!! You will too I'm sure!

Oh I loved Theo and Piper! Her son was freaking adorable, every time he called Theo “my Theo” I freaking melted. Their story was so exciting and kept me on my toes. I loved the Amy writes the flash backs to bring everything full circle by the climax. I figured out Theo and Piper’s connection sooner than the others in the series and I was so completely invested when it comes out. Both their stories are so heartbreaking, yet what comes out of them is so sweet and you can’t help but get the warm and tingle feelings. Theo is the “playboy” of the group, but honestly with his past he just didn’t think he was capable of more. Piper is such an amazing FMC. She’s been so strong for so long, I loved when he finally surrendered to Theo and let him help whole her trauma and grief. It is so beautiful to see the characters walls come down for each other. Also her grandmother is a rockstar and I loved her! Now I’m patiently waiting for my man Cash’s story!
